How do you cheat on people by mistake?
Seriously, why is everyone being such apologists? She cheated, he's in no way obligated to accept her back or even be nice to her in the first place. It's betrayal through and through.
Maybe she w as worried that the guy thought she cheated because she was mad at him? Maybe she made a mistake because she's a teenager and that's what young people do?
Oh great, now you are painting her as the victim. It is like you suggest that women can´t control their emotions, and the instant you make her mad she cheats on you.

Ask Sir Lancelot. He cheated on Guenevere by mistake.

image macros are the most cringe worthy words the mods use on this forum

Painting her as a victim? No, I'm just trying to say that she might not be the "evil dumb bitch slut" that you guys seem to think she is.

Well she's a bitch because she literally said "well that's just one guy soz". She's a slut because she cheated on her boyfriend, for whatever reason there may be, doesn't matter in the slightest. The fact that she's kinda dumb is self-evident from the fact that this chat even happened in the first place.
That leaves us with just "evil" out of the picture, other than that I'd say it's pretty accurate.
Seriously, How can anyone defend this? It's bullying. Oh bullying is so terrible, we should do something about it, except for when we feel someone deserves it.

I am utterly disgusted by the fact that CNN would have this slime on their show and call him a "celebrity".

And because she cheated on her boyfriend that makes her a bitch and a slut? Because she's an idiot that means it's OK to be an immature asshole to her? Was any other response other than not talking to her really warranted in this case?

snipped for length
Ouch. He should have had the decency to stop at that stage, no matter what his bitterness.
She obviously feels bad that she did this. She blames herself. But she likes this guy, and wants to let the guy know that she still loves him a lot, even though she cheated on him once. She begs him for forgiveness, but instead he insults her, tells her to kill her family, tells her to stop breathing, and then posts the texts on twitter. Why are we supporting this guy, and why is it victim blaming if we call him an asshole?

You can't call it bullying when "victim" initiates the conversation "bully" doesn't want to have.
You can't call it bullying when "victim" initiates the conversation "bully" doesn't want to have.
That doesn't make any sense.
You can't call it bullying when "victim" initiates the conversation "bully" doesn't want to have.
Did she initiate the conversation on twitter?
Oh wait, no, she didn't. She sent a private apology to the guy, and then that guy posted the conversation on the internet to harras and embarress her.
If the Kane900 is right then this whole situation is stupid, however the reaction to the hypothetical situation is quite telling about Facepunch.
Wow it's crazy the amount of publicity this guy is getting right now, he's already been on TV and got +60,000 followers on his Twitter since yesterday morning. Seems as if the fame has already gone to his head though

Some people are already calling him out for faking it
I just ended my marriage. And I did it by texting a bunch of Internet memes to my wife.
It started with a creepy habit I developed. I’ve been talking in my sleep, muttering things like “pretty girl” while tapping on my wife’s shoulder incessantly. At first she didn’t make much of it, brushing it off as a result of me staying up too late re-watching Breaking Bad.
Then last night I muttered something that would bring my relationship to the brink. This is the conversation.

Most of what you’ve read above is a complete fabrication. My wife and I have indeed been together for 10 years, but we aren’t having relationship issues, and there is no Tiffany.
The texts are real, but that’s not my wife, it’s me. The blue text is a friend roleplaying as me. The whole process took all of 10 minutes to write and paste together in the collage you see above.
This is the oldest way to dupe people into believing fake text messages. Then, of course, there’s sites like ifaketext.com, iphonefaketext.com, and www.ios7text.com that allow you to fabricate messages even easier.
Plus there's this tweet

oh gee
I really couldn't care if this was fake or not.
I think it is amazing. My ex cheated on me. If she is ever going to start this kind of bullshit, oh lord.. I will go in full troll-mode.
If real: Bitch deserved it.
If not: Still hilarious.

How can I say what it warrants? She could've stopped it in any moment, get the message and fuck off. She didn't. And then said "but I just fucked one guy, come on", like it makes it okay to fuck on the side, right? That phrase just denies everything else. There's no honest "feeling bad" for what you've done when you justify it with something like that.

She wasn't trying to justify it. She was trying to say "yes, I did something bad, but I admit I did something bad and you don't have to be a dick to me."
Plus, these are teenagers. I mean, come on.

she didn't beg for forgiveness at all, she didn't even apologize
she just said "it was only one guy" and then went on to "awh i still really love you though"
like seriously

What are you even talking about? You've shown a picture like it would say something and said it's bullying. As far as publicising this shit goes, I totally agree with you, he shouldn't have done that, I'm wholeheartedly against posting private shit like that for everyone to see. But the conversation itself that took place - no, that's no bullying.
Guy was okay til' he brought it to national attention.
Now they're both wrong.
But it's okay because it "was only one guy!"

First, this is obviously fake, so the woman doesn't exist.
Second, she definitely does. She doesn't literally say "I am sorry, please forgive me," but she is definitely begging him to take her back.

Posting a private conversation in order to harass or embarrass another individual is bullying.
This argument is now about a hypothetical situation since it's likely this never happened but everyone's reaction to it is genuine.
Plus, these are teenagers. I mean, come on.
So being a teenager just works in her favor, right? Because honestly, if we go with this, then the guy should be excused too. He's just a teenager, he's done stupid shit.
Guy was okay til' he brought it to national attention.

It's not OK to be an asshole to someone, especially when they're not being an asshole to you.
Let's make this clear: Two wrongs don't make a right.
So being a teenager just works in her favor, right? Because honestly, if we go with this, then the guy should be excused too. He's just a teenager, he's done stupid shit.
Which is why he made a fake conversation and put it on twitter to get famous.
Second, she definitely does. She doesn't literally say "I am sorry, please forgive me," but she is definitely begging him to take her back.
So you betray someone's trust, then try to get them back through texting?
If she really wanted him back, this would be a face-to-face matter.
But like she said, "it was only one guy!" so let's forgive her already [/s]
Posting a private conversation in order to harass or embarrass another individual is bullying.
Fucking read what I wrote, how about that? I just agreed with you in that very thing. Posting that shit for expressed purpose of embarrasing the girl is a dick move and bullying allright. I never even said that's okay.
So you betray someone's trust, then try to get them back through texting?

Again, this is fake. This conversation did not happen. But even if it did, and she did try to get him back through texting, does that really give you a license to be a dick?
It's not OK to be an asshole to someone, especially when they're not being an asshole to you.
Are you serious right now?
She cheated on the guy, and didn't even directly apologize.
Can she not control herself because she's a teenager?
It wasn't the guy's fault he made her cheat on him?
After all, he was the "nicest" guy she's ever met.
