But a lot of people here seem to think that taking in refugees is A-okay and won't bring up any problem whatsoever, and that theres enough money and resources for everything and everyone, which there really isn't. All of your arguments would be valid of asking for an ID if it had any risk in doing so. but no, it doesn't, and takes a very limited amount of time to do so. Just black the information out. I was called a racist the moment I posted negatively about the current immigration crisis. Then I brought up that it was funny that I am the one volunteering whilst being critical, and that people attacking me are passively sitting at home fighting an 'internet-battle'. Read the goddamn articles that I'm posting. They're all from respectable sources, who mostly have their heads in the sand as well.

There's a standard of treatment people expect, and living in a literal tent camp may put the refugees on edge especially considering that they've already spent quite a lot of time in them already. When anyone doesnt receive frequent care medically or economically things like these protests happen. Perhaps the Netherlands should look into sending more doctors or military doctors to these camps to help alleviate the sickness. Of course I'm viewing all of this from the outside and realize that its not so simple to just do that, but its a solution nonetheless.

Some of these people are economic immigrants, but a lot of them are genuine refugees - and they're not the ones complaining, just a vocal minority of people who were expecting something else. It's not a hard concept, and "send them all back" or "firebomb them" are not solutions.
