My sister might be affected, but she recently had her credit card stolen in Cambodia along with other stuff, so she'll be getting a new CC anyway, and the money that was on it have been transferred to another account.

This will definitely hurt them come their next major console release, think people will content paying for a monthly fee if it means better security.. or at least more of an effort to protect customer's personal data. Really shouldn't happen in this day and age.

When I mentioned PSN the customer service rep asked if it was "that Sony thing everyone is calling about". Luckily it was a credit card and not a debit card (we don't even have VISA debit here) so my actual bank account is fine
