I always thought Serbia was strongly aligned with Russia, guess not. However that is probably because I don't know much about Serbia, but I'm guessing their economy must be in a pretty good state if they're seriously being considered for the European Union.
Stay the fuck out of it Serbia! The last think the UK needs is more poor eastern/southeastern European immigrants.
Implying anyone ever would want to live in the shitstain that is UK.

We Serbs are very good at power-balancing
we are on excellent terms with Russia and on good terms with the EU

First two, maybe people born in the UK should stop having this issue about doing work that people from Europe will happily do for half the pay.
Yeah man, why would workers get paid properly when you can outsource the work to people willing to do it for less? Because you know, that's sustainable.
This is pretty good, I've always wanted to visit and if they join the EU I can just hop on a plane with me passport.
If you have a passport, what would prevent you from visiting now?
Not a lot of people here want to join EU tho, and rarely who trusts politicians who rooted themselves so deep that nobody can get them out since the 90's. This is just generic mumbling which will probably get nothing done since you'd have to arrest half of the government (and even more) if you want to get rid of the corruption.
No corruption is a requirement to be on the EU?
SHIT.
No corruption is a requirement to be on the EU?

In theory it is, in practice everyone's hush-hush about it because if people look too hard we'll find corruption in the UK, France, Germany and the likes and have to kick out every country.
But it's still expected to crack down on corruption and punish it whenever possible
Jesus, I can't stop listening the artillery is led by god.
I mean, wtf, how come this didn't top the charts? Where are all the guetta and avicci remixes?

Its a well known problem here at the moment, its not even people working for half the pay (but I assume this does happen). There are quite a few jobs that people born here just refuse to do that people from all over the EU will happily do (in a lot of the cases, paid the same rate).
This attitude contradicts the claim that people from the EU are "stealing" jobs.
If they get opportunity to improve their living standards and stabilize their region thats great! However, we all know a lot are gonna head west and increase the burden on the EU. Ever since Romania and Lithuania joined the EU burglaries in Denmark has increased by 25%, plus several violent home invasions a year in rural areas, where they before were almost non-existent. At certain prisons sometimes 60% of all inmates are Lithuanians.
Id really love to hear if there is gonna be any advantages to letting another eastern country join the EU. I could use some cheering up.
