Aziz is weird with a lot of his standup. Didn't he have a set on Netflix recently where it was just entirely social shit and pretty light on jokes.
haha yeah dude did you catch that episode of south park last week?
its funny you say south park because that show is probably the most self-aware comedy on television, that parodies pretty much everything while simultaneously calling out the bullshit in pop culture
people calling out comedians for saying offensive garbage is destructive and ignorant, got it
lmfao, how often do you sit in these threads and pick apart each post just to find one 'off' sentence to reply to?
Making jokes about an issue helps people deal with it. Comedy is a a great way to deal with social issues.
Most "racist" comics out there are being sarcastic anyway. Which effectively criticizes and undermines racism overall.
He's a Jew you racist.
Hey man its not cool to label people like that!
Calling them Jewish and stuff...
people calling out comedians for saying offensive garbage is destructive and ignorant, got it
How can you call someone out without evidence
people calling out comedians for saying offensive garbage is destructive and ignorant, got it
dude you're literally just saying this because you want to look like the cool, hip, new age dude that is extra self-aware of how all white people are racists and all men are sexists and now that someone has called you out on how wrong you are you're trying to smugly assert that you know better than them about Seinfeld which is clearly false since you've obviously never listened to his comedy before, so you're really just spouting pre-conceived notions about what someone like Seinfeld MUST BE(as a white, middle aged man) instead of actually looking at who he is and why he said what he did
in short, you're single-handedly proving his point.

not everybody has the same kind of humor or takes things the same way
and sarcasm or not, some people still don't find certain matters to be joke-worthy.
How can you call someone out without evidence
i'm not, i'm pointing out that if you have an issue with """""political correctness""""" it's probably because you just want to be able to say offensive things without negative repercussions!!!
i'm not, i'm pointing out that if you have an issue with """""political correctness""""" it's probably because you just want to be able to say offensive things without negative repercussions!!!
Well you really didn't go about it the right way.
Hell now I know what you're talking about.
What if Kinglah Crab was actually just making a joke about white comedians all being racists
Surely criticizing him in that case would be political correctness gone mad
What if Kinglah Crab was actually just making a joke about white comedians all being racists

God dammit it's Canadian comedy.
Nevermind folks figured it out.

it's not far off really

...You just keep fucking posting.

god you're such a garbage poster, he's even a jew if you were to do any basic amount of research other than looking at his skin tone
i haven't even mentioned how hard you spin this in every post. there's a difference between a constructive argument and making blanket blatantly wrong statements every sentence
old white man upset he's not allowed to say racist shit anymore. more at 12
Please, tell me of one instance Jerry Seinfeld has ever said anything racist. Hell, he barely ever talks about race in his comedy, let alone saying "racist shit".
This is exactly what he's talking about, the straw man thinking that "oh, he doesn't like colleges, he must be a racist."
i'm not, i'm pointing out that if you have an issue with """""political correctness""""" it's probably because you just want to be able to say offensive things without negative repercussions!!!
edit: fuck my automerge
Why does it matter that he's jewish? He's still an idiot.
"Why does it matter that he's jewish?"
Seriously? Read who he's fucking responding to.
And please, elaborate on how he's an idiot.
Good comedians are some of the best people at handling criticism, they don't need a personal army of internet warriors to defend them from angry people on tumblr and twitter.
Nobody is being prohibited from making racist jokes, controversial comedy still exists and is the most popular form of comedy.
I've always firmly believed that humor is the one thing where nothing is true and everything is permitted
people calling out comedians for saying offensive garbage is destructive and ignorant, got it
People like this don't fucking understand stand up comedy at all.

Carlin seen this shit coming from miles away.
I've always firmly believed that humor is one thing where nothing is true and everything is permitted
Humour is like any other form of expression. You're free to do it however you want, and other people are free to call it shit and hate you for doing it.
And here's an article on Vox offering a completely different viewpoint on their own article. How's that for ethics?
I think it's great tbh, it's an actual dialogue which is very important when talking about any issue, otherwise one side (or both) ends up acting as if they're the only right one and shutting out any criticism.
are you white
that shouldn't matter
It does.
Being white means you have different experiences in life than people of other races. Commenting about how racism in comedy isn't a big deal while never being affected by it is pretty dumb.
If you're offended than don't watch it
Humour is like any other form of expression. You're free to do it however you want, and other people are free to call it shit and hate you for doing it.
And other people are free to call your criticism shitty and baseless if your comment is just "its stupid, it sucks, I hate it"
It does.

That explains why most college PC warriors always go fully retarded.
They have no experience, yet wanna feel like they're making a difference
Trying to make a difference in the real world without any real world experience.
And here's an article on Vox offering a completely different viewpoint on their own article. How's that for ethics?
Why do you guys think that they're boogeymen? No ideology has completely perfect people. Do you honestly think that people imagined the outrage aimed at Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and Joss Whedon?
that shouldn't matter
"does sexism still exist? many men say no"
Being jewish means he's not white? I don't get it. Please explain.
And he's an idiot because he thinks that being "PC" is somehow bad. Like "oh no people can't say racist shit without being criticized this is the end of comedy."

Don't be that guy who uses comedians as a moral compass.
Sorry, but it just so happens that Carlin is my number one inspiration and personal hero, I love stand up comedy, I love comedians, they can be some of the funniest and most intelligent people we have, and I've taken more advice to heart and heard more wisdom from comedians than any other group ever. Love em through and through, it's my passion. But I guess because they say nigger or make dick jokes they're invalidated.
Perpetuating the casual racism prevalent in our society affects people whether or not they watch it. Racist jokes are still racist.
So are you saying if I was black or something it would be justified for me to like racist comedy?
