At least post the video
White knights compensating for their own insecurities against women. When was "excuse me, I'm talking" sexist? He was being interrupted and he got annoyed.
Because there's only one reason to talk bad about a woman and that's muhsoggyknee.
To be fair, Sanders did say that white people don't know what it's like to be poor, so he can go and fuck himself truly.
Living up to expectation with a deceptional misquote.
When you’re white, you don’t know what it’s like to be living in a ghetto. You don’t know what it’s like to be poor. You don’t know what it’s like to be hassled when you walk down the street or you get dragged out of a car
All those things taken together, in context with each other are pretty right. Blacks in america are much more likely to be stop and searched, much more likely to live in a ghetto/live in poverty and are more than twice as likely to be killed by the police, less likely to be accepted for jobs despite the same qualifications (leading to making it harder to escape from poverty/ghetto see blacks in further education also) and will be given longer prison sentences than whites for the same crime. Taking a quote and cutting away any context is an affective way to mislead people with the intention of discarding, avoiding and ignoring any valid arguments they were making. [editline]8th March 2016[/editline]
Bernie is in trouble for interrupting Clinton who had interrupted him first.
Ridiculous isn't it. Reeks like manufactured outrage to smear Sanders and support Clinton. Twitter is p much toxic, facepunch has better standards of communication.
and why do we care about tweets from literal nobodies
and why do we care about tweets from literal nobodies
Because it fuels the Internet's fetish for SJWs. Man do I live for the day people stop talking about irrelevant bullshit.
Yeah, that's not really what the Dunning-Kruger Effect is though. I get your interpretation, but that's just not what it means.
Yeah the Dunning-Kruger effect is about an individuals perception of themselves, not about how someone percieves a group of people.
Kinda a big deal considering how large a role Twitter plays now. These twitter trends represent real world trends and what people actually think.
no more or less than the views that are expressed on here and the rest of the internet. your point?
the tweets are one thing but we have CNN on the TV at my work's kitchen and goddamn they were trying so hard to pull this same schtick for a while yesterday. Thankfully by the time I walked past it again they had a guest speaker tearing into them for making the claims
What the fuck SHE WAS INTERRUPTING HIM!!! Look up a video of the debate, she jumped into the middle of him talking multiple times throughout the debate. Hillary honestly got demolished in that debate. It was Bernie's best performance yet, at least compared to his last debate which was lackluster.
That was about as sexist as... well, I can't come up with an analogy because it wasn't sexist, you were being an asshole Clinton and wouldn't let him speak. How far can she ride the Sexism train until people realize she's full of shit?
That was about as sexist as... well, I can't come up with an analogy because it wasn't sexist, you were being an asshole Clinton and wouldn't let him speak. How far can she ride the Sexism train until people realize she's full of shit?
it was about as sexist as someone turning around to a woman who is talking in the cinema and saying "please stop talking" it could only ever be considered sexist by someone who was trying to deflect from the fact that they were actually in the wrong
That was about as sexist as... well, I can't come up with an analogy because it wasn't sexist, you were being an asshole Clinton and wouldn't let him speak. How far can she ride the Sexism train until people realize she's full of shit?
Well SHE didn't say anything. But of course, she isn't going to right this wrong, that would take class.
The real solution would be to have 2 countries with 2 different presidents, one female and one male. Then there's no way to talk over a woman and be sexist because there are only woman! But wait, then you could have a white woman speak over a black woman... we can't have that... might as well divide it up again. No wonder why this country is getting less united
The only way to argue that this is "sexist" is to believe that women should be able to interrupt men in the middle of their answers and they can't do anything about it.
I wonder if this is just an article propped up to discredit sexist accusations elsewhere. This is very insignificant to report on.
You must be completely disconnected from television media. Seriously, turn on CNN and watch for an hour and I can guarantee you this will pop up at least once. They keep talking about it and bringing on "analysts" to see whether or not Bernie is a raging sexist.

Not that you're less likely to experience it. That's a pretty big difference and an awful generalization.
How far can she ride the Sexism train until people realize she's full of shit?
Hard telling. I mean, plenty of us already have figured it out, and I think otherwise it's just a matter of her supporters not wanting to back down on their offensive. With the way identity politics/special snowflake rights dominate American society anymore, they know they can pull this card and get away with it. For now, at least. It might not destroy your reputation to be accused of being a sexist or a racist (regardless of whether or not you actually are), but it certainly won't do anything to help you with voters whose worldviews revolve heavily around gender and race politics/issues.

these idiots on twitter are the equivalent to people like "confederateson83"/"obongosaliar"/"blackburner" that you see on article comment sections on tablets/outlets.
Isn't this a basic debate rule, where you do not to interrupt your opponent, but you can raise your hand and if he wants to he can take your question? Do the moderators\judges never intervene in these cases? I'm asking this mainly because I see lots of people interrupting other people during other debates and I was wondering if that's actually allowed, or if they are just being rude.

Clinton had interrupted Sanders at least twice before he said anything about it and she did so again afterwards.
