Porting a game to PC, especially with a multiplatform engine is low risk/high gain. Remember Remedy porting Alan Wake? The development costs were made back in a mere two days. Crytek is most likely trying to mitigate their financial issues the safest way possible.

It's nice to get it with all the DLC but what about the in-game store real money items? I remember reading it's one of those games.

Titanfall was the odd one out because it was announced for PC on day one but Microsoft still paid a lot of money and it even uses Microsoft's cloud dedicated server tech.
