Imagine that mother who put him there, meeting that kid when he gets free. And just whispers into his ear "Lol jk"
If I remember correctly, wasn't it someone who wasn't even involved?
way to ruin someone's life permanently over nothing
Good; that'll make an example to the rest of the goyim

He's been locked up since March for a fucking facebook post? I wonder how those fucks who keep him locked up sleep at night, knowing they are partially responsible.

They probably feel like they're doing everyone justice by making this kid sit in jail like he's some kind of criminal.
That's why prisons should be separated and be controlled better. Getting beaten up or raped by inmates would be my biggest fear in prison.
I think the only way this kid could be getting worse treatment right now is if he were in Gitmo. Get him out of there. Hell, keep him under house arrest if you feel you have to keep him secure, but his continued presence in a prison where he's getting the living shit kicked out of him before he even goes to trial is not something this kid deserves. He made a smartass comment on Facebook for fuck's sake. [editline]4th July 2013[/editline] shit i say worse shit on Facebook all the time, and the most I ever got was banned from commenting for a week
The worst thing about this is that what he said was so ridiculously over the top, so obviously sarcastic, that for anyone to take this seriously and report it to the police is just pathetic. Then for the police to read the post and take it seriously is so amazingly flabbergasting that I am at a loss for good verbs through which to display my disbelief.
The law's sarcasm detector was broken that day.
I've never understood the logic in locking someone up prior to actually being convicted, unless they where involved in something serious like a murder.
I like how the article contradicts itself by saying he said it on facebook when he said it ingame, and then it even mentions he said it in game.
he said it on facebook
Worst thing is, it could happen to literally anyone, with no knowledge of it until 4 cops are at your door and throwing you on jail. And all just because of a comment in a forum and someone paranoid enough.
Um nope, it wouldn't happen to everyone but not everyone lives in the USA.
I've never understood the logic in locking someone up prior to actually being convicted, unless they where involved in something serious like a murder.
That's what bail is supposed to be for. What the fuck is wrong with that judge who set it at a half million dollars.
He's been put in solitary confinement, nude, for days on end because he's depressed
What the everloving fuck do you think you're doing? Last time I checked we weren't living in fucking 10th century Bedlam. Are they going to trepan the sickness ghosts out of his skull to get rid of the black eye? Do they genuinely think this is how you deal with things like this? DOES ANYONE HAVE A FUNCTIONING BRAIN ANY MORE?! I'm sorry, I'm unfathomably angry about this. As a forensic psychologist I'm utterly disgusted by every motherfucker involved in this repulsive shit.

I literally can't believe that this is happening, how are authorities allowed to get away with shit like this and other bullshit like prism and gitmo in this day and age? It's fucking 2013, I thought we'd be past this.
I think this, along with the other case of the guy being sued for sharing songs, is just to scare people. They're just using these poor guys.

Kind of sad that the way they prevent suicide might be worse than what the inmates are trying to escape.
Sometimes I wish I was a lawyer so I could defend people from stuff like this.

I'm gonna plant a bomb in the white house. lol jk [sp]pray for me guys ;-;[/sp]
I'm wondering why no one questioned the woman that got pretty much all his details and where he lived after she heard that. I mean, he was probably easy to look up, but still. She really pardoned herself from everything to take every action of a sarcastic remark, and now it's causing this kid his life, and probably predetermining his path in life, which might turn out horribly wrong. He could have been something else, but due to this, he has a record, jail time, and experience that won't ever leave his head.
Isn't IP not even legal to use as identification for criminal cases? Unless the FB account is what she used but I remember reading it was posted on a forum board.
The woman that has a poor sarcasm detector should be put through the same thing to put her in Justin's shoes.
