I was leaning back in my chair when I heard GlaDOS' voice, I actually fell backwards in utter shock.
Too many people are saying it isn't a surprise just because they don't care about the PS3. Just because you don't care, doesn't mean it isn't surprising. I think it's good that they're doing this. People are always bitching that the PS3 lacks games so shouldn't Portal 2 being on it be a good thing.
I get that maybe it's disappointing that the "surprise" that people have been waiting for turned out to be this, but it's hardly a bad thing.

aiming with a mouse is much more accurate than with 2 analog joysticks.
well I have played portal on the xbox and I can tell that it was terrible. Why would this be any better.
They should've sticked to the pc and next time say that the surprise applies only for little amount of people.

This. And acceleration helps quite a bit too. I was at a friends house trying to do some sniping in MW2 on the 360, I literally held the analog stick all the way and followed a target probably a hundred feet in the corner of my scope before they stopped and I could actually get a shot. On TF2, I can literally go in one full scope rotation in the time it takes to move it only a degree or two on any console.

Yes, the PS3 has 2 USB ports on front of it.

Holy shit. Does this mean that the PS3 isn't going to be all "nooby" with the games, so we can mod our games?

Am I the only one who thinks this is really, really over-hyped? I mean, the Orange Box came to the PS3 and everyone was like "yay!", but now Portal 2 is announced for the PS3 and Valve is treating it like "PORTAL 2 IS COMING TO PS3!!!!!!! HUGE SURPRISE!!!!!!1".
