Steam on PS3 would be pointless. There already is the social part of gaming on Playstation Network, such as having friend lists and sending messages etc. There's just really no need for it. The PS3 version better not have a code in the instruction manual where it is tied to only 1 account.

i just realized suicide rate's about to go through the roof, what with everyone promising suicide if this wasn't ep3. also, the flaming object in the trailer's probably a personality core. kinda funny that it's on fire though.

Looks like they updated the engine a good bit. A lots of nice animations and physics.

I'd say cross-console servers would be the best way to go if incorporating the PS3 given the smaller community, but surely you just if you think cross-platform also includes the PC. I mean really, aside from update issues, if a TF2 player with a 360 went against a TF2 player with a PC, the guy with the PC is going to win. A mouse and keyboard are significantly more precise controllers than anything a console has. In short, a joystick is clumsy, while a mouse is not.

Late as this update is, I think Portal 2 looks like it's going to be fucking fantastic. And the Source Engine's never looked better, I'm hoping they're going to be doing what they've done with Portal 2 for Episode 3.

meh. I quite liked Valve being a developer just for the computer. I'm worried they're slowly turning into another generic team as opposed to the classy Valve I've always seen.
