Do not worry my Swedish brothers and sisters! The might of the vikings will crush Russia!
All this talk about lasting a week against an invasion from Russia.
Russia itself wouldn't stand a week trying to invade somewhere.
I mean I'm likely biased (<--) but not even a consideration for France?
As someone from the UK, in the event of a military crisis I could easily see military leadership in the EU being deferred to France or the UK, since we're the two big military countries in the union, and we both have the command structure and military infrastructure to handle it. There are three blue-water navies in the world (i.e a navy capable of operating at long distances over oceans for an extended period of time) and two of those are the UK and France, which is an example of the scale of logistics and long distance command both nations are capable of exerting.
Off topic as fuck, but I love trying to translate stuff out of languages close to those I'm learning.
"Hallå" is pretty obviously "Hello"; but "Det är dags" would be "it's time/today's the day", right?
"Det är dags" pretty exactly translates to "It's time"
"Det är dags" pretty exactly translates to "It's time"
Thanks, I thought it looked awfully similar to the Icelandic "Þetta er" which is roughly "this is". "Dag" is pretty obviously related to "Dagur" (and the English "day"), too.
Nordic languages! Buy one, get the rest half price. It's pretty great.
W-wrong?
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is 100% military in nature. If one member-nation is attacked, they've all been attacked. NATO has absolutely no reason to "crumble", and there are no reasons for NATO to dissolve, either.
Do you know what you're talking about or not?
yes i know and let's try guess what happens if Russia attacks baltic states , nothing
cause old NATO members including USA would simply try avoid global conflict with nuclear power
you can find several NATO documents and analysis on the subject of 'we would fail protect baltic members' ...
hint: history teach us that no superpower gives damn about small countries unless they important (strategically or resources) ...
Finnish ex-general said "They (russia) wont dare to come here. They know they would get their ass kicked over here."
there's no reason to believe our military leadership
they're the same dudes who explain how 5.56x45 overpenetrates compared to 7.62x39 and the Rk-62 is the best rifle in the universe

It pretty much is the best cold weather rifle in the universe though.

ye that goes with saying Russia fears only those who kicked theirs ass and can still kick it ...
so Finland and Swiss and US are safe ... rest ... that's good question

I dont know why that guy would vote you dumb, but you are 100% correct.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is either someone who has a mental age of 10 or was brainwashed.

Russian Army in Transnistria started as peacekeeping force, and were to leave in 2003 as agreed at Istanbul OSCE Summit in 1999 ... yet they still there ...
