I'm honestly worried about the mental state of the toddler.
He might form a phobia of washing machines, now.
He most likely will not remember it. After the age of five, your brain has developed to a point where you will start remembering things better.
Seems like a pretty lame way to lose an arm.
I'd make up stories about how I lost it, keep em guessing.
My brother when he was young fell head first into the washing machine and it turned on, he was in there for like 2 minutes and he had to goto the hospital afterwards.
Death-traps they are i says.
Washing machines will fuck you up.
A friend of mine reached into a washing machine that was still spinning thinking he could just nab a towl out. That machine nabbed his arm and broke it instead.
