Does smoking weed preclude someone from doing any work of any sort? Like they're just functionally retarded in that state, and cannot produce work equivalent to that of the worst employee in a company?
I mean I get you say you don't have anything against them, but when you readily believe that being some degree of "high" makes you functionally incapable of human interaction, of basic tasks, of complex tasks, then I have news for you but you'll just tell me I'm wrong and shut the conversation down there with "No you can't do basic, or complex tasks, you're high, not lazy, just incapable of anything what so ever". It's hypothetical though.

This is it pretty much. I don't really think there's anything anyone can say for or against it more than "it's against the law." even many, many prescription drugs stop one from driving.
Who cares about the law right? You legally can not drive, you legally can not work in Federal jobs (and probably most state jobs), and I'm also assuming most companies don't want their workers to be high at work. The same applies for any perception altering or psychomotor impacting prescription medications as well. You SHOULD NOT drive while under the influence of Marijuana.
Certainly not disagreeing that its illegal for a reason and dangerous and stupid for most people. I'm just stating that I've never caused any form of danger to anybody in those conditions, in which alternatively, sober, I have. Just because a high may be too debilitating for you doesn't mean it is for other people.
There are many functioning drug addicts in the world who go to work, make money, have a family, and manage not to fuck up their lives. This doesn't mean its right, but it does mean that it's simply not black and white.
Anybody blanket stating that its "impossible not to be a danger to anyone on the road while under the influence" knows very little about effects and tolerance when it comes to this stuff.
Like i said, I'm not condoning this activity, I'm just saying its foolish the way you guys are perceiving it.

You are a god damn master of not reading
That suck ass when that happens, too.
"Got any chronic?"
"Hell yeah, some good shit, too!"
"Sweet! What strain is it?"
"I dunno man, shit, I just smoke it and I like it!"
It's like buying canned soup with the label missing: You know it's soup, but you have no idea if it was worth buying until it's too late.
If you're not a total idiot you can tell if it's good or not without smoking, only difference are the subtleties in cannibinoid concentrations. weed is about 70-90 different chems all in one, it's not just the THC that gets you high like most think. THC just causes the more heady in ur face sensation of cannabis.
That's irrelevant, the point is that you are taking something which will impair your ability to drive.
Why can't you just actually have some patience and wait until you have reached your destination? Or at least take public transport or a taxi.
Because you're really not endangering anyone anymore than if you took an add med or ssri or something. once someone is a medical user and uses on the daily they are no more a danger than one who smokes a cigarette and no longer gets a buzz. You can tell when you can drive or not stoned, it doesn't make you more confident like booze or other drugs.

Just because 100 years of smearing the drug has got most authority figures with the wrong idea, does not make reality any more real. The fact of the matter is mmillions of americans drive stoned everyday and I don't know where the source is atm but I recall reading that cannabis users are generally safer drivers according to insurance companies.
I drive while high and to be honest, I drive better than when sober. I drive slower.
But if I am fucking high, I don't touch the car because I am not an idiot.
It's retarded to do it even if you're just a little high, and driving slower can be more dangerous than driving faster in some cases.

He mentioned that people shouldn't drive while high, I think you're so high you skipped over stuff he posted.

Well I guess Concerta doesn't work after all.
Well I guess Concerta doesn't work after all.
Concerta has a scary list of side effects.
i've been gettin baked on at least a weekly basis for the last 4 years, i can eat enough to feed half of africa on a normal day so you know what's gonna be when the munchies kick in but for some reason i'm still 120lbs and have been for as long as i can remember
"Oh god I think I'm smoking ministroni! Fuck I wanted chronic not ministroni god damnit!"
When I get the munchies they aren't what people think it is, I don't just go "MUST EAT EVERYTHING". It's more like it makes me much more aware of what my body is needs. Sometimes it's nothing, but sometimes I get huge craving's for specific foods like fish (Which I normally don't even eat) or red meat, oranges or milk.
It's like when I get high my body clearly tells me what vitamins/nutrients It needs.
I've noticed something similar to this as well, except rather than hunger, I feel the urge to tinker.
No I never said weed smokers are lazy. I said weed could be a viable treatment option for Psychiatric illness if you didn't have anywhere to go, be, or work all day. It's a hypothetical.
Well that depends completely on what kind of job you have though.
