Squarepusher's song titles are mostly fine, Ufabulum didn't have a single one that you couldn't pronounce afaik Autechre's latest album on the other hand
Exai's titles were easy to pronounce come on dude
Every time I see the logo for Aphex Twin, I keep thinking it's for some fucking HL2 mod I've never heard of.
-snip-
Yeah, me too. I've been meaning to note down what AFX tracks are used and where, but I'm lazy.
There's a part in that game where you walk into a bar with some music playing. That music is Polynomial C, yet another great track from AT. The game's good ending is Rhubarb, and the game's intro is Cliff, if I'm not mistaken I just find it amazing how Aphex Twin's songs suit the whole atmosphere of Afraid of Monsters. Rumpel did a good job picking the music!

I feel odd in that I was into autechre years before I first heard an aphex twin track
I feel odd in that I was into autechre years before I first heard an aphex twin track
Can you recommend some of their stuff? I've been meaning to get into Autechre for ages now.
Can you recommend some of their stuff? I've been meaning to get into Autechre for ages now.
I'd recommend listening to Tri Repetae first
I'd recommend listening to Tri Repetae first
Confield is my favorite, but I hear there's a lot of split opinions on it.
Made myself an iPhone 5 wallpaper using the colours of the logo on the new website (click for full size): [t]http://i.imgur.com/W3iSZLF.jpg[/t] What it looks like when applied to lock screen: [t]http://i.imgur.com/KOE7nfW.jpg[/t] [editline]20th August 2014[/editline] ...and did some desktop wallpapers too. With Autechre, it's always fun to listen to the LP and sister EP(s) that came out around the same time as they're very complementary.

I need to find the other tracks, because they're in the various city levels that require different ending paths to trigger. I knew about Polynomial-C, but forgot to note it down. I'm such a whore for AoM to the point that me and a buddy have been planning on making a 'bible'-style breakdown and walkthrough of the game.
This is confirmed to be on Syro.
I have a friend that went to that gig and I am insanely jealous. I hope this is on there too. Also I hope we finally get the successor to Polynomial C that's been talked about. This is my favorite track he has ever done.
Saturday is a big day! Syro's first track (aka minipops 67 [120.2][source field mix]) will be played at 7-9 pm (UK time) http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/playlist
The packaging actually looks really nice. [t]http://www.creativereview.co.uk/images/uploads/2014/09/unknown6_1.jpeg[/t] Linked form here. tDR has really started to earn a place in my heart. I loved the artwork for Exai & L-Event, and generally like what they've done with Autechre.
Saturday is a big day! In this picture it says 7-9 pm in Thursday but in the website of BBC it states that it will be played in Saturday. I'm real confused.
God that track is so good. Omg im so hyped [editline]3rd September 2014[/editline] I hope somebody rips it from the radio.
I hope somebody rips it from the radio.
I'm gonna do it. I'm ready
If you fail I will stab you multiple times
Boom! It rocks!
I'm so happy. I've been wanting an official release of this track since I listened through the live set that had it in there in 2007.
Boom! It rocks!
I love it, trying to sort out my pre-order 'cause grabbing it from bleep the second it was announced gives you the US release instead.
