The company did not elaborate.
I really want to know why though. :speechless:
Pork tastest like nothing unless you bathe it in spices, beef only needs some salt and tastes amazing
I'm sorry you've had lousy pork all your life.
I'm sorry you've had lousy pork all your life.
Pretty much the case with most people. Usually people overcook pork too. While I do enjoy a nice heavy dry rub, some super basic seasoning is all you need. Or just, ya know, salted pork.
I'm sorry you've had lousy pork all your life.
Explain to me why fresh pork tastes worse than beef then
Digiorno is a nestle product? Guess that's another brand I need to boycott.
I know the US food system is pretty bad but surely there's some quality control?
They do. The thing is you can't use a metal detector to detect glass. I worked at Kraft/Nestle when I was 18. They used metal detectors before food was packaged. And the metal detectors were checked every hour with multiple types of metal. Oh top of that WQ Techs would pull randomly from the line every 2-4 hours.
what's with all the nestle hate? what makes them so bad?
what's with all the nestle hate? what makes them so bad?
Well they are a great example of massive, greedy cunts. They have very shady practises, like syphoning water off Canadian lakes without paying for it i believe. But the thing that made me determine that they were horrible was when a Nestlé CEO said that water is not a basic human right, but a foodstuff whose price should be determined by corporations.
I know the US food system is pretty bad but surely there's some quality control?
Incidents like this happen everywhere. Just last month in Europe a lot of German manufactured candy bars were recalled because they might have contained plastic.
Human eyes are ok at it.
We're not talking shards of glass, we're talking about tiny little bits of it. Unless you plan to slow the assembly line down and hand inspect every leaf you're going to have a hard time finding things barely smaller than a peppercorn amongst the leaves and dew etc.
what's with all the nestle hate? what makes them so bad?
They bought up a lot of competetiors. Plus they're CEO is a dick.
You guys keep arguing over pork vs beef while I eat my venison that's better than both of those combined.
i fucking hate it when the spinach i grow in the garden turns into glass
I guess the Tiberium based fertilizer wasn't such a great idea after all.
You guys keep arguing over pork vs beef while I eat my venison that's better than both of those combined.
omg why do u have to kill animals just go to the store like everyone else where no animals get hurt seriously though deer meat is too gamey for my taste. Also smells way different when cooking.

This article made me think of Mars Bar pulled their products off the shelves temporarily only a few weeks ago, because pieces of plastic were found inside the bars :v:
what's with all the nestle hate? what makes them so bad?
They're among the worst asshole corporations imaginable. Alongside declaring water to not be a human right and convincing the World Water Council to downgrade clean water from "human right" to "human need", they've been creating water shortages and exploiting the results. They caught a lot of shit over pumping out wells in South Africa to the point of dropping the water table down to 400ft or so below ground level vs 100-200ft, which caused a severe shortage. Also are partially responsible for some significant shortages in the US too, specifically in parts of California and Michigan during droughts. I'm not gonna say any more than that as it's not that relevant to the thread.
