Supposedly this last photo was actually from August last year, when Russia was conducting a military exercise in that area.
If the pics with dates are to be believed, this is on the ground right now, meaning Russia is lying its ass off. If NATO is releasing out of date pictures, then NATO is lying its ass off. So there you have it, eventually though, we'll find out whats going on. Ukraine will either be invaded, someone will notice a massive troop withdrawal, or NATO will be revealed to have lied. As it stands, reports show only a few troops left, probably to give the illusion that things were dying down. When you add in these recent pro-Russia protests, and the location were they are happening, it makes you wonder.
Not if they go back to communism But seriously, Russia's GDP has been going nowhere but up since our friend Putin took over, not to mention his approval rating. And a war would only improve Russia's economy, take WWII and America's economy for example.
Uhm the only reason WWII helped America was because we had very little damaged infrastructure as a result of the war, since it wasn't being fought on U.S. soil. We had a dick load of pillaged goods from Germany, we were paid a lot for our supplies from the Allies. Oh and lets not forget the dick load of money we forced Germany to pay us after as well. Overall, saying war is good for an economy is retarded, because I'm pretty sure France, the UK and Germany didn't really come out of that situation in an economic golden age.
Why anyone thinks that Russia is doing this for anything other than defense from any strike from the west boggles me
You're absolutely right, Russia is just defending their border from all of those non existent imminent attacks from all those western armies on their border. Are you, literally, not figuratively retarded?

Nontheless I wouldn't be surprised if Russia really were massing forces there. This whole Ukrainian mess is turning into quite the hot spot. What with how nations have been playing chess for resource locations the past couple of decades, it's just a matter of time until someone's going to kick some pieces of the board.
