for example in the upcoming election Poroshenko is expected to win and he is absolutely anti bandera-worship
He could be far worse.
I don't think a businessman can be a good leader for a country.
Well, at least he is batter than Timoshenko
much like the US south
Haha look at this misinformed and ignorant brit that's probably never been to the south or methe someone from the south and gets all his knowledge of the south from Top Gear specials.

i got my knowledge from django unchained too thank you very much
And now rednecks are faced with the worst decision to have to make, do they give up being able to fly the confederate flag the antenna of their pickups, or risk associating themselves with the dirty commies? Only time will tell.
I don't think anyone from the deep south would find this flattering.
You do know there are real actual Russians on this forum, don't you?
Don't let Putin hear you say that.

I mean jesus christ this dude looks like some super right-wing guy from the American backwoods south.
For some reason this image reminded me some of Gta 2 mission faction :v:
Also, lol'd hard when you said Svoboda has no 'real power', and right sector has already killed people so you are just naive.
The Separatists have killed people to. In Crimea they won independence riding on the back of the Russian Army, and now they've taken over several cities in the East and have held them for quite some time. Currently the only smaller party than Svoboda in the Rada is the Communist Party.

That's because they used the confederate flag as their faction emblem.

I'm surprised so much of the world outside of the US know the Confederate battle flag and associate that design with it.
A CSA flag ripoff was probably the last flag I was expecting to be completely honest.
It looks more like Norway's, but rotated.
It looks more like Norway's, but rotated.
That's what I thought at first. Without the stars on it, I didn't picture the Confederacy.
Almost as good as the National-Bolshevik party flag

I am so confused
Why does their flag remind me of the Confederate Flag, looks so like it.
I am so confused
Nazbol is one of those "syncretic" ideologies that "take parts from both left and right". They focus mostly on the populist aspects and the nationalist aspects of the Soviet Union under Stalin and also Lenin. They're generally pro-labor, and pro-"socialism" in that they seek the economy to be nationalized. They also idolize fascists in that they agree with many of the tenets of their economic and nationalist beliefs. They caucus with the communists mostly, which is strange, but they also flirt pretty hard with the far-right.
Want to be more confused? I present the National Bolshevik Party of Israel:

This is such a joke, it's like they're not even trying.

Ok but still the mental gymnastics those people must do every day
Ok but still the mental gymnastics those people must do every day
It's no difficult if your view of the world is something like: "Stalin and Hitler were so similar! They were both dictators who made a strong nation and nationalized the economy and worked for the people!"
kk
but but but they were worst enemies
Thats because Russia is just a country full of Rednecks and white trash. Alcoholic, poor driving, racist, xenophobic, homophobic ass holes.
God bless Americans like you, the true specimens of humanity :v:

The US civil war is kinda a standard part of history modules in schools. Not to mention the thing shows up in every second US cop show sooner or later.

Really? Why? I never knew others studied the war
Really? Why? I never knew others studied the war
...because it's the most notable attempt at abolishing slavery and also one of the most important events that happened in America?
I mean, that's not to say most people do know any details, but even the stupidest people know that at one point America was at war with itself over something. Details aren't studied, but you don't study details of European politics either, do you now?
Regarding the thread topic, I'd say that the guys inside the party are probably on the stupid side of the spectrum. Almost every person that flaunts the Southern flag outside of America doesn't even know what's the point of flaunting it.
Well, I doubt it'll gain any momentum. Although, these sorts of mini-crises in Europe have brought up a lot of groups like "New Russia"- the Golden Dawn being an example.
Wonder if any of these nationalist groups will take over their respective countries.
Well, to give them at least a little bit of an excuse, Ukraine was called Little Russia before the Russian Revolution.
That's still as stupid and condescending as a Dutchman coming to NYC and yelling "Maaan, the New Amsterdam sure has grown!"
Russia is pretty much as bad as the United States, both of which are only slightly worse than France and England, etc.
We all have racist asshole parties.
i know, we publicly torture homosexuals without any fear of retribution and as a majority would like to return to the days when we were the fucking USSR
