This isn't news, it's argument. I could dredge up 12 recent stories of firearms being used to indiscriminately murder people and that wouldn't be news either.

It's also not relevant, as 12 cases, while impressive, are in no way a meaningful statistic. I'm not gonna discuss guns in here, because nothing have really been changed with an article like this.
