OP is a fucking idiot.
This sounds way to much like bullshit.
Somehow I doubt this.
Did you even read the article?
I remember hearing about this on :foxnews: and someone explained it perfectly as saying "We grew up playing cops and robbers, it was all fun and games even though someone had to be the bad guy, how is this any different than that or other games such as playing on the side of the Nazis or Japanese on other Medal of Honor games?"
They should just call the terrorists in the game the Balitan. We'll all know what you mean and noone can bitch.
Just tell all the soldiers to buy BC2.
I always imagined that playing arcade shooters must be bad for you or something if you were in the military. Might get into the habit of charging through streets blowing huge holes in walls with your grenade launcher, something that's less likely to work IRL.
Then people proceeded to play it up like the whole game was played on the side of the Taliban, even though it's only multiplayer.
Holy hell ninja'd in around 15 seconds by 2 people.

There's no way that was anyone on the fox news payroll. That makes far too much sense.
fuck you and your title OP
that's as retarded as Glenn Beck

No, it was a special guest, I think he was one of the people who worked on the game.
He proceeded to get chewed out by the fox people.

Yeah, which is absolute bullshit and proves that the bitch he was talking to (that quote was taken from the interviewer) had no idea what the analogy means (Cops and Robbers vs MoH). It just means that if you're going to have human players on the cops team, you got to have human players on the opposite team as well. Someone has to play the role, so how about take turns (which is what MoH does).
I mean fuck it's not like the game is based on you, a young Arab, who grows up making improvised explosives and killing American soldiers then mooning the camera. It's just a generic, shitty arcade FPS that happens to include Taliban models and...dun dun...FOX news' nemesis, the AK-47!
I had a heart attack when I saw that title, I thought the beta was fantasicly fun. I thought this was already settled by a "professional mom" on Fox News or whatever? I understand why it's banned in the military bases, but I don't think it should be banned in the whole United States, and I hope it doesn't.
Cod gets banned because it has the word Taliban In it and yet command and conquer generals HEAVILY implies that you play as the Taliban and that game gets released just fine.

It was the guy interviewer that's regularly on there. He was probably told to passively resist her statements in the form of questions, which is exactly what he did. The person they were interviewing however was the generic ugly soccer mom that would probably abolish video games entirely given the chance.
FOX and :foxnews: can burn in hell.
I don`t see how actually naming the generic nowheristan terrorists that have populated the terrorist side of multiplayer games for ages.
If we just pretend that the terrorist models aren't meant to represent any existing group this is okay, but if you drop the B.S and be honest about it its a scandal, apparently.

Do you live in a military base?
One thing people seem to be forgetting is THE TRAILER.

That doesn't look like an anti-US Taliban propoganda game to me.
It is not like it a big deal for me, nor any other serviceman I know. Well La Dee Mc'Fricken Da! Bummer, so we have to drive off post 2 miles to the nearest Game Stop to get this game. It is no bother to me once so ever.
Wait, the game was banned because you can play as a Taliban in multiplayer?
What about all the other Modern War games that allow you to do the same like Battlefield 2, CoD4, etc?
Damn idiots.
Because putting a real enemy into a game that is about modern affairs is so risk-ay these days right?
Great I can start my video game smuggling business now.
:signings:
I don't know a single person that's offended by this. This has got to be PR on Gamestop's front.
that's dumb
how can people at home even speak for what soldiers want
I figured there was more to this this story. Way to create a intentionally deceptive title OP.
