oh wow, look at those shadows in the second screenshot
I'm going to be sick....
Were you expecting something serious and in-depth?
No, but i don't see any reason to combine the two universes.
At least this means we get a left 4 dead 2 content update.
At least this means we get a left 4 dead 2 content update.
I wish that they would make Yama an official campaign. If something like Cold Stream can be added, something like Yama that is near to perfection as a campaign absolutely deserves it.

The content is being added to the Workshop. And it's just three RE6 creatures. They're asking the community to create the RE6 cast.
That covers L4D2 in RE6, but what kind of self-respecting mash-up only goes one way? Don’t worry, we’ve got that covered. First up, we are adding three RE6 creatures to the Left 4 Dead 2 Workshop - Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman as Special Infected replacements.
For the Resident Evil 6 characters we have a different idea. This is where you come in. Both the Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 communities are invited to create their own take on RE6’s original cast and submit them to the L4D2 Workshop.
That's disappointing.

Don't believe anyone posted it yet, picture of one of the special infected in RE6, there's also going to be a tank and a "mini-tank"
Anyway, letting the community create the RE6 characters for L4D2 seems like a huge cop-out, i feel valve has gotten very lazy in recent times.
i don't think l4d2 even has a team anymore

Coach certainly fits into the game like a glove, doesn't he? :v:

Isn't he like the only actual black dude in the RE series now?

Valve isn't obligated to release updates or DLC at all, I hope you understand.
Plus what do you want them to do, redirect focus from whatever they're working on now to a game that's about four years old?
Plus what do you want them to do, redirect focus from whatever they're working on now to a game that's about four years old?
Yeah because TF2 isn't like 6 years old or anything.
i don't think l4d2 even has a team anymore
L4D2's "team" is exactly one person: Chet. Nobody else is working on it. Their "A" team is on DOTA and their "B" team is on TF2, and Chet works on L4D occasionally.
it really is too bad that RE6 is such a bad game lol

this logic only applies if it's valve
any other developer = nope it's evil and they're terrible for not updating old games

"All right, which one of you zombies farted in here?"
With that aside, that was totally out of left field. Might pick up RE6 when a Steam sale comes...

entertainment value and free?
fuck you guys RE6 was fun.
fuck you guys RE6 was fun.
RE6 is fun as long as you don't pay attention to anything going on
Is resident evil 6 at least better than the fifth one? I didn't like resident evil 5 at all.

but IGN give it a 7.9!

seriously wtf, the review basically consisted of grievances about the game, pretty much panning almost all its gameplay and calling it a bit of a mess that was ambitious but didn't quite work, how does that mean 7.9? fuck sake
how does that mean 7.9? fuck sake
They gave SimCity a 7. Which may as well be a 1 for them.
Resident Evil 6 was a bit of a mix, the "multiple campaigns" things was kind of washed out and I felt that only Leon's campaign was decent. While the gameplay felt tons more fun and smoother than resident evil 5 imo. Resident Evil 5 only felt fun to me co-op. Whereas 6 you can play solo and the AI isn't retarded and its actually pretty decent.
Some people say that resident evil 6 is not as good as 5 but I disagree. I think its much better.
[sp]also 6 doesnt have GFWL :)[/sp]

Yeah, I preordered it a while ago and personally I'm excited for it. I know it's a lot more action-y but the series has been there since 4 anyways.

And that's exactly why I don't give a flaccid fuck about people and their urge to insist RE6 is a bad game just because it's not like the old Resident Evil games.
I hope Revelations does well, and capcom makes action and survival horror RE games.
Because that would please everyone and would make everyone shut the fuck up about the action vs. survival horror in RE games.
I've just begun to assume that if "thrilling survival horror experience" is used to describe a horror game, it will have assloads of cannon fodder, assloads of explosions, and non-assloads of actual tension or scariness.
