Why are guns such an extremly important matter in the USA?
Only in the South. In the North it's not a big deal. Yes a lot of us in the North would get upset about the Second Amendment being removed, but it's not so much a "we want our gunnnnss D:" thing as a "hey what the fuck man those are our rights" thing. We have gun safety classes and gun regulation laws for good reasons and I support them immensely. The South would rather everyone have an entire rack of guns and be allowed to shoot them whenever they feel like it.

The same focus on the second amendment can be found in just as -- if not more -- force in the western US. Montana is a notable pro-gun state. It's due to the fact that there are more and larger areas of wilderness, making hunting a more common passtime, and that the less dense population reduces the response time of police, or at least creates the illusion of a lowered response time; meaning people feel a stronger need to protect themselves with weapons. When you get to more densely-packed urban areas in the South or West, like Southern Florida or Southern California (especially Miami and Los Angeles) the mood is shifted towards gun control more often than not.
they are perfectly valid points...
Not in the context of the argument. Newt said gun racks can't go in a Volt, it turns out you can. Doesn't matter if you can't fit a dead deer in it or not.
Antelopes in America?
They may as well be the state animal of my state.
Saw it coming. And don't electric cars make like, waaaay less noise than normal ones, this would be perfect for hunting. (as long as you didn't have to carry a deer home or something.)
Antelopes in America?
I'm guessing you've never been to Wyoming. They're EVERYWHERE there.
