If there is one thing I learned from X-Files, is that the government has people everywhere. But seriously, they have people everywhere.
Yeah but I mean they conducted a ground search for it? Seems like they went way out of their way because they really wanted to get it I just want to believe :tinfoil:
Helicopters maybe? How far were they.

Helicopters seems plausible, but they'd probably have to be pretty far away so you couldn't hear the thrumming of the rotors.
I'd like to think that but there's just no way in hell it was a helicopter. The one falling from space was traveling so fast that it had a huge trail following behind it kind of like a meteor would, but you could clearly tell that it wasn't on fire or burning up and it traveled directly to the other orb. Then both of them disappeared right after they met up with each other... Got any other explanations of what they could of been because I sure as hell don't.
Yeah but I mean they conducted a ground search for it? They needed all the info they could get about what the Soviets were working with.
Me either, those details threw me off the helicopter theory. Only theory I have at the moment is that maybe it was a "drone"? You know, the small remote-control quadrocopter kind that people have been using for a few years. Maybe someone attached a bunch of fancy lights to some quadrocopters (or maybe some fancy non-poppy fireworks that leave behind a luminous trail) and decided to have some fun with them? Other than that, I got nothing.

Even so this was miles off the coast and way too high up to be done from the ground. There's just no other logical explanation. I'm convinced that me and my roommate witnessed 2 extraterrestrial craft meet up and take off.

Mirages are weird as fuck, y'know. I mean, look at how distorted the sun gets near the horizon: Depending on where you live, you could've witnessed the launch of a spy satellite that had weird atmospheric effects happening to it.
There's no doubt in my mind that we're not alone. How could we be when our universe is so vast with so many other planets outside our solar system that are orbiting their very own suns? There has to be other forms of life somewhere out there and it really wouldn't surprise me if they're more advanced and have visited us. There's been plenty of unexplained events that would support it and even ancient hieroglyphs depicting beings coming down from the sky. I've seen some pretty crazy shit with my own two eyes that I couldn't make any sense of other than it being extraterrestrials. I think our governments know more then they're telling us and it's only a matter of time before they make themselves known and it can't be denied anymore. I just hope that when it happens it'll be peaceful and we don't get into some insane war with them. If they've got the ability to travel across galaxies then there's a good chance they've got more advanced weapons then us.
We statistically are not alone in this universe, however as far as interstellar aliens arriving here we must be missing some glaring hole in the laws of physics that allow them to do what they do with their UFOs as well as be able to enter into our solar system without tripping all sorts of sensors from the energy released. A ship decelerating into a solar orbit would have to leave a massive plume of drive mass behind it as far as we know, or would have massive solar sails which again would be hard to miss, we are most likely alone in our solar system as far as the UFO stories are concerned A lot of our current understanding of the ancient world has been overwriten lately, and we are always finding more connections between civilizations every year, the ancient world was not nearly as isolated as we once suspected

Hell, mighta been alien drones, since in this day and age it'd probably be safer to peep at humanity through unmanned probes, than to risk sending down scouting craft with officers and scientists on board. Especially considering the kinds of weaponry we've invented since the heyday of flying saucers, like really powerful lasers and railguns. They just wouldn't want to risk it when they could just use probes to check the bowels of bumpkins from afar, rather than bringing them onboard a ship to be seen by a resident xenoproctologist who wonders why they entered into that particular field of medicine.
It seems there hasn't been any UFO sightings in the modern era of 4k and 1080p cameras, so I wonder if all of them are just hoaxes.
It seems there hasn't been any UFO sightings in the modern era of 4k and 1080p cameras, so I wonder if all of them are just hoaxes.
Inversely, one could assume that such beings wouldn't want to be in the viewing range of 4k and 1080p cameras, in the first place.
Inversely, one could assume that such beings wouldn't want to be in the viewing range of 4k and 1080p cameras, in the first place.
So the aliens know what our consumer electronics are capable of, now? Why were they quite happy to hang around when all we had was film?
It seems there hasn't been any UFO sightings in the modern era of 4k and 1080p cameras, so I wonder if all of them are just hoaxes.
There have been sightings. It's just that the culture isn't there anymore to make it big deal anymore.
So the aliens know what our consumer electronics are capable of, now? Why were they quite happy to hang around when all we had was film?
If they were around visiting us, I think it'd be pretty safe to assume they'd keep tabs on our technological capabilities?
So the aliens know what our consumer electronics are capable of, now? Why were they quite happy to hang around when all we had was film?
Film is a fucking hassle compared to digital.
If they were around visiting us, I think it'd be pretty safe to assume they'd keep tabs on our technological capabilities?
Would they even consider us intelligent life if we're barely capable of getting our asses to our own moon and they've come from tens to thousands of light-years away?
Would they even consider us intelligent life if we're barely capable of getting our asses to our own moon and they've come from tens to thousands of light-years away?
Because they wouldn't want to be a bother? The last thing you want is the marmot seeing you on your daily walk.
to imply that aliens have visited earth and nobody knows about it except through shaky, grainy, shitty videos is fucking asinine.
I wouldn't exactly consider ancient hieroglyphics to be the best source of information. Depending on where its from it was probably a god or three, to be honest.
Because they wouldn't want to be a bother? The last thing you want is the marmot seeing you on your daily walk.
Pretty damn considerate aliens considering the massive energy/material/time investment to come here. Why would they care if we spotted them? What threat could we possibly pose if they're capable of interstellar travel? We're technologically outmatched by default. And PowerBooks are not able to connect to alien networks outside of Will Smith movies so that's not an option either. ...I also don't understand the marmot metaphor, especially as I live within day-travel distance of the natural ranges of three different North American marmot species, but never mind that. Human perception is easily fooled. One police officer in the UK held a frantic, high-speed chase to follow a UFO at night, and he was sure it was dodging him and trying to evade him as he sped around corners. He chased the moon for miles.
I witnessed an orb of bright light shooting down from the sky at 5:30 in the morning on my way out the door for work. Normally I would just dismiss it as a meteor and move on if it weren't for the fact that it was heading directly towards another bright orb of light that was just hovering out over the ocean when there wasn't a star in the sky. I stood there and watched both of them until they got close to each other and then both of the orbs just vanished... I wouldn't call that god even if I believed in one and I wasn't the only one that watched it happen.
Yes! I knew there was someone else that felt it too! Something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go when I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky to the east. It was moving very irregularly. Then suddenly there was intense light all around me, and when I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?
I could only assume its fake :what:

Whatever they could be, something so might just wouldn't want to bother with us on their journeys. Imagine a sleep-state crew waiting through a lightyear journey, ignoring whatever their ship comes across.

What I find most interesting is all the little tidbits showing how much society has changed. (first scully document, p16) Nowadays, being an "advertising expert" isn't that special :v:

Stick to one argument. Either they're ignoring us and not bothering to make contact, or they're hiding their presence from us while they do whatever alien thing they're visiting Earth for. Pick one.

Get them fired for breaking the rules about not contacting undeveloped species?

Its my opinion, from historical evidence and otherwise, like the Suetonius's explaination of the famous chi-rho in the sky, and other artifices of art and portraiture, that some time in the past, something came to earth and influenced us. Its a bit odd considering everything, and i know it isnt really entirely logical, (hi occams razor) but theres too much similar art, portraiture, and even momuments built within a short amount of time that detail things like dragons and otherwise with extremely similar characteristics, in some cases in places with no contact woth each other at all, like china and the maya. Its more likely that its just probably oral tradition thats finally transcribed in a human way, but if aliens at all exist the case would probably be they visited us much longer in the past. If anything, id say that aliens, if they exist, were here in the past, but the advent of modern media and otherwise, outside of some examples, are hoaxes.

Why would they need to go into the atmosphere or anywhere near earth? They came from fucking space, they probably would have invented a telescope or binoculars some time before they became space worthy.
classic abduction scenario, i suggest you get a memory regression
Is this a genuine statement?
