We have had gay marriage for a few years now and honestly, you get used to the hetero death squads after a while
You have hetero death squads? Psh, fucking loser. Try heterosexual purge nights. Sure, I have to hide for my safety but it finally pushed me to fix up my basement.

What the fuck is radical gay sex education? Does a guy on a skateboard kick-flip his way into the class room with a bag full of dildos or something? Fuck these shitty people, i wish my education was radical.
The basement? That's a bad idea, its the first place the gaystapo will look.
I thought it was the closet?
Why is Australia so backward with this shit.
Well they do have their head upside down.
Wow, I thought idiotic gay marriage ads were mostly contained to the US. It's wild that lots of people think that even acknowledging the fact that gay people exists is suddenly CORRUPTING THE CHILDREN. These people want to keep their kids in a religious bubble all their life don't they?
Because they're trying to target the easily offended "BUT THINK OF THE CHILDREN" mothers demographic
Ah, yes, the demographic that has to preface every opinion they have with, "As a mom..."
Canadian here, we've had gay marriage for over ten years and I can happily report that me and my constitutionally-mandated gay husband Dave are doing great and I'm totally not being forced to write this at gunpoint no sir not at all. I want someone to make an edit of this video to turn it into North Korean propaganda about how the devil pigs of the west have forced gay marriage. All you'd need is the patriotic graphics overlays and music, leave the actual content the same. And it'd actually add credibility to the video. [editline]30th August 2017[/editline]
Why is Australia so backward with this shit.
Australia's more rural regions are more Southern American Hick than Southern American hicks are, just with different accents and maybe a bit less inbreeding. It's like how South Korea is actually, on the whole, more conservative than the US. They're quiet about it so it's surprising when they suddenly show up in the news being giant regressive fucksticks in whatever controversy blew up big enough to go international.

It's completely normal either way. These people need to understand it's completely natural and in my honest opinion, I truly think the majority of gay people are born with the preference of liking men or women, or in some cases both.
Amazing, they disabled comments on their video. Didn't want to be called out on your shit, huh?
Amazing, they disabled comments on their video. Didn't want to be called out on your shit, huh?
Clearly they were afraid of seeing homophobic comments. /s
As a gay Australian man, I, personally, cannot wait to be forcibly married to my boyfriend.
Yes, you have a choice - just as they should have one. You don't have to be in a same sex relationship but that doesn't mean you should stop others from being able to marry, you backwards morons. That this ad was even considered acceptable, let alone shown for public viewing, is disgusting.
A lot of people said before the plebiscite that the coming dialogue would be harmful towards LGBT people, but from what I've seen (of course, I'm not all-seeing), the dialogue has only served to strengthen LGBT people, and shame anti-same-sex people from voicing their opinions? A lot of businesses have come out in support of marriage equality; from smaller cafes and restaurants, to bigger businesses like Flight Centre. Catholic schools, and some churches have come out in support of marriage equality. A lot of politicians on all sides of parliament have spoken out in support. Whenever a pro-same-sex marriage thing is uploaded on Facebook, it receives many thousands of likes and hearts, and perhaps only a dozen or two angry reactions. The broader Catholic Church absolutely has no leg to stand on, because of the scandals behind their kiddie fiddling priests, which have reached all the way up to Cardinal Pell. Sure, there are some 'vote no' advocates, but what have they posted that is of any substance? The Australians Conservatives merely say that 'it's okay to vote no', as if that's literally their entire argument. Some people say they want to vote no because 'religious freedom'. What about the fucking freedom of two loving people to become married if an institution is willing to marry them? Then there are people who say 'think of the children'. Fucking what? This is about whether two consenting adults can be married. Same-sex couples adopting kids is an altogether different issue. Even if it were scientifically proven that same-sex couples should not adopt kids, who's to say that every single same-sex married couple will adopt kids? And why do they act like hetero couples cannot do any wrong in raising children, when domestic violence is such a huge issue in Australia? Oh, and isn't that 'think of the children' argument also just a big fuck you to single parent families? Then some people say 'traditional marriage'. So what, is their idea of marriage being put into an arranged marriage by their parents, or being forced to marry someone of their own race and class? Because that's traditional marriage.
