fuck them for exercising a constitutional right
So they are legally allowed to block ports, loiter, trespass and vandalize? Damn, what memo did I miss?
Why don't they split into two halves, having each spending 12 hours on the spot and the rest somewhere else, sleeping and stuff, and then always swap?
Because that's an idea that implies that they're all an organized and disciplined organization that would willingly split with no arguments
So they are legally allowed to block ports, loiter, trespass and vandalize? Damn, what memo did I miss?
no, but legality is not the be all and end all of moral acceptability. \/\/\/\/\/ okay i'll rephrase that!! it doesn't matter what the constitution says, jabronie. i literally think it's okay to break certain laws in the scope of a greater struggle and if you disagree that's not surprising.
no, but legality is not the be all and end all of moral acceptability.
What? Morals are not constitutionally backed in the context you speak of. You're off topic.
So they are legally allowed to block ports, loiter, trespass and vandalize? Damn, what memo did I miss?
do you use this rational for anything? even in countries where not wearing a veil is illegal?
You know what the OWS need. A Pink :v: Let them hammer us together!
So they are legally allowed to block ports, loiter, trespass and vandalize? Damn, what memo did I miss?
Most of history's effective protests utilized civil disobedience in some way or another I'm not even counting the ones that just turned into a full-blown riot to get results
Most of history's effective protests utilized civil disobedience in some way or another I'm not even counting the ones that just turned into a full-blown riot to get results
Does that make them right? No, it doesn't.
do you use this rational for anything? even in countries where not wearing a veil is illegal?
What are you even on about?
Does that make them right? No, it doesn't. What are you even on about?
i'm saying if legality is such an issue for you, you'd have to be logically against protests of forced veil-wearing.
How can they actually even get away with this, sleep is a basic need of survival, without you will die. It would be like them saying were banning the use of drinking water here.

If you are in a place that has banned the use of drinking water you leave and go to another place, which is what they are trying to do here.
Does that make them right? No, it doesn't.
I suppose you're opposed to women's suffrage, civil rights and the Arab Spring revolts too?
Kind of hard to support a group of people that loiter, trespass and vandalize for no real reason.
loiter? You do know protesting typically includes standing physically in one area? [editline]1st February 2012[/editline] Faze is horribly out of touch with reality.
