Female character in bikini=slutty bimbo. Never change, facepunch.
No they made a slutty bimbo in the relaunch personalty wise.
Ohh, so they decided against killing him off completely? When the made the announcement, he was supposed to be gone entirely. Everyone loves a good RetCon.
They really should just officially sticking to the Tom & Jerry type of formula where everything resets after an arc has finished. I mean, they're doing it de facto anyway and all it does is build up useless continuity and plot holes that scares away new readers. Also, this design looks too grim and bulky for Spiderman IMO. Not that I could take bright and flashy armor that seriously to begin with (40k is no exception).

Hmmm, this new armoured Spidey-suit makes it seem like a fusion of Spider-Man and Iron Man. That'd kinda be like the Iron Spider. Then again the "Iron Spider" sounds like the Soviet Union equivalent of Spider-Man, kind of like the Soviet version of Superman in the Red Son graphic novels. Soviet Superheroes aside, I guess the red chick is "Starfire"? (I don't read many comic books to know every superhero)

Well, spiders DO have exoskeletons...
Female character in bikini=slutty bimbo. Never change, facepunch.
It's less "she's in a bikini" and more "the bikini was originally going to be transparent". And the fact that they think sexual empowerment means "I'm going to dress in basically nothing for my superhero outfit, and I'm going to have sex with absolutely everyone" and "my swimwear will be made of ziplock bags." Fuck it, just read this: Red Hood's pants: Well, it's better than going with this at least.
This got from spiderman to porn in less than half a page.

If a woman wants to have sex with multiple partners, it doesn't make her a "slutty bimbo". Society doesn't own a woman's sexuality.
This got from spiderman to porn in less than half a page.
For some reason I am okay with this.
I could make just about the same post about that one. If a woman wants to have sex with multiple partners, it doesn't make her a "slutty bimbo". Society doesn't own a woman's sexuality.
I might be mistaken, but isn't dressing like that and wanting to have sex with multiple partners basically the definition of the word slut?
I could make just about the same post about that one. If a woman wants to have sex with multiple partners, it doesn't make her a "slutty bimbo". Society doesn't own a woman's sexuality.
Yeah but she's not fucking real is she. It was deliberately made to be this way.
thirty different universes for every character that intersect with random universes of other characters.
Ultimates and Classic (or going by the previous naming convention, Avengers) are completely separate from eachother. Ultimates is also terrible, and frequently has events were they cull characters en masse (Nightcrawler's death was even OFF-SCREEN!)
Is it bullet proof? Well, I guess I will have to read it first

Here's an article that touches on the superheroine issues behind the new reboot.
Dude. Have you seen Red Hood in the New 52? His artist can't fucking draw and his bottom half is over twice the size of the top half. HIS THIGHS ARE MORE MASSIVE THEN CHUN LI'S!
Looks like we've got a Rob Liefeld for the new millennium.
Looks like we've got a Rob Liefeld for the new millennium.
I thought Liefeld was the Liefeld of the new millennium? Dude still gets work, and that is TERRIBLE.
Interesting. Looks neat, but I can't help but think that if you took like twenty different superhero toys and hacked little bits off them and glued them onto another toy, this would be the result. Though as I say it looks neat.
Looks like we've got a Rob Liefeld for the new millennium.
No, Liefeld is artist of the millenium every millenium.
COmic books have gone down the shitter recently, before Batman was MOTHAFUCKIN' BATMAN! now it's Catwoman FUCKIN' Batman,
Jesus Christ just stop trying so hard to be a comic book's white knight And stop trying to go against every opinion ever just to be cool and edgy, it just makes you sound annoying and clueless.
I'm not trying to white knight for a comic book character, I'm just arguing about how women are perceived. Comic character or not. How am I trying to go against every opinion ever? I've made an argument on two separate things that are pretty much on the exact same topic. That wasn't even a good use of hyperbole.

What does this mean?
People even read comic books anymore?
People even read comic books anymore?
Not as much, they just make most of their money from licenses I think
There are so many different universes, I just lose track. I guess that's the good thing about DC's New 52 thing is that there isn't supposed to be thirty different universes for every character that intersect with random universes of other characters. You just have to deal with the massive quantities of skull-fucking stupidity in each character now and the slutty bimbo nature of the women. If it weren't for the fact that this was entirely official, I'd say it's something off Rule 34 or the similar sites. I'd say Armored Spiderman is more ultimate than Black Spiderman.

Holy fucking shit is that starfire What have they done
Repost from the "Before Watchmen" Thread:
Let me reiterate: Harley Quinn pre-reboot [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/dwMIb.jpg[/thumb] Harley Quinn post-reboot.
