I could make just about the same post about that one. If a woman wants to have sex with multiple partners, it doesn't make her a "slutty bimbo". Society doesn't own a woman's sexuality.
AHAHAHAHAHAH
Yes, it does.

if you ever read any comics with starfire in it this isn't really all that different from them.

This just in: Marvel and/or DC does stupid, insulting shit that either doesn't stick or lingers forever. Film at 11.
I love how comic producers such as Marvel and DC are being held up by everything other then comics.
I wanked to green arrow's wife before
Olawd. That armour looks awesome.
Is it the Original Sinister Six as well? If so, fuck yes.
Are you guys serious
99% of female comic book characters have always been provocatively dressed, have really generous proportions and have been borderline slutty bimbos. These are written by 20-30 something neckbeards for 20-30 something neckbeards ffs. I see literally no difference between what you guys are bitching about, and what I saw last time i actually read a series comic, which is like 5 years ago.
If you want quality writing and non-atrocious dialogue, and characters that don't make you cringe, then you will have to wait for the once in a blue moon excellent graphic novels. Majority of continuing comic series and arcs are poorly written nerd fantasies.
I'm not trying to white knight for a comic book character, I'm just arguing about how women are perceived. Comic character or not.
A woman in clothes showing 90% of her skin asking guys to have sex with them while not being in relationship with them is a slut. Or you have a different definition of it?
From what I can gather (Not being an avid comic reader myself) it's not so much the character design as it is the personality. The character of Starfire was always more sexually liberated than other characters, it's part of the culture she was raised in. She found the human ideals towards nudity and sexuality bizarre and prudish. What she didn't do, however, was go around fucking people just because she could. Her character acted more sexually open due to naivety, not due to being a slut. Her character still valued mutual love, quite the opposite of what the comic is presenting now.

Yeah that armor is totally not gonna get in the way or weigh you down while swinging around and doing backflips and shit
I never liked spiderman, but I understand agility is pretty much the main characteristic the hero has, besides being able to cum ropes from his wrists and "sense" stuff.

So I'm sure some strong yet light weight, durable, and dexterous armor is well within the realm of possibility. Hell, its probably an activity for elementary school children or something, given how things work in comics. "Billy, you go build battle armor. Susie, you go build several different laser rifles. Beckie, you go conquer Bahrain. And Timmy, you go play with blocks... of uranium."

If I had to hazard a guess, it's probably made from the same stuff as Cap's shield.

There were many times when he went out of power, be it in the movies, the comics, or the animated series.
There were many times when he went out of power, be it in the movies, the comics, or the animated series.
It's a Diabolus ex Machina. A specific circumstance when something bad happens at the exact wrong time to heighten the suspense and drama of a scene. His suit runs on batteries that know just when to stop working so as to make everything seem lost, just to come back later at the exact right time to save the day.
It reminds me of that 90s Spiderman animated series where he meets a bunch of spidermen from different universes and one of them is a billionaire with an armoured suit, sorta like an Iron Man Spiderman hybrid. He was exclusive to the Animated Series though.

I dont think anyone has been able to replicated Captain Americas type of Vibranium.

I didn't know that. I guess thats what inspired the character on the show.

Don't forget superstrength, the only reason he can do all his jumping and swinging without breaking his legs or ripping his arms off is because he also happens to be really strong. A few metal panels wouldn't slow him down much.

Hum yeah female superheroes always had very light clothes
But it went from "I am a lovable alien from a planet where everyone loves each other and where it's important to be happy and not hide your feelings" to "I want your dick because I'm bored".
Just read the article someone posted before, it explains stuff a lot better than me.
This thread reminds me of the fact that we need a comic book subforum
So what's DC gonna do about the new 52? It seems everyone hates it. Like there is not much positive feedback.

The only good thing I can say about it is that they brought back Blue Beetle the Third. It's a shittier run than his old one, but I take what I can get.

Do like 4chan with /co/, combine Comics and Cartoons into one forum.

Not much they can do but stick with it at this point.
It's too bad. It wasn't a bad idea, but I never thought they would attract a huge following from it. I'd love to get into comics, but damn, even 52 different running series seems mad to me.
I dont think anyone has been able to replicated Captain Americas type of Vibranium.
IIRC Cap's shield is the original Adamantium, and the closest attempt at replicating it is Wolverine's skeleton.
Also fuck everyone who brings up Rob Liefeld in discussion. I WANT TO FORGET.
