I've seen people with actual ADHD, and its INCREDIBLY obvious, that being said, both ADD and ADHD way too over diagnosed. Both are quite real, but no where near as common as they are made out to be.

Perfect example here. Another thing that can cause someone to think ADD is partial deafness. Sure the kid can hear you perfectly fine 1 to 1, but can't hear a teacher standing in front of a class.
