So how about cougars? I'm 23 and she is 41. Does that make it gross? What if I told you she looks like she's 28? Does that make it less gross? What about my mom and dad who are 5 years apart? does that make it gross? See, gross is subjective. That's why gross isn't really an arguing point in this. I won't go farther due to my inability to clearly explain myself most of the time, which would not help.

I really empathize with any pedophile who hasn't acted on their attraction and molested anyone. Imagine living, knowing that if anyone knew how you actually felt that they'd hate you and view you as a monster. You might eventually begin to think that you were fundamentally evil, no matter how you acted or how much good you did.

It is a disorder that i'm pretty confident all pedophiles wish they were born without.

It's entirely possible for someone to be finished with the physical part of puberty by 14/15. If the age at which puberty continues to fall this will soon become common to the point of ubiquity. If you're attracted to someone who is fully or almost fully sexual mature you're attracted to many 14/15 year olds and even some 13 year olds. It's why school girl uniforms, shaving body and genitalia hair as well as make up are so common, most men find youthfulness attractive. Ephebophilia isn't a "joke" because it's not supposed to be considered an illness or a disorder, it's just one of many chronophilias, like Teleiophilia (attraction to adults) and Gerontophilia (attraction to elderly). A philiia of any kind isn't by definition a mental illness, it's just a sexual preference.
