I don't mind people being religious I respect their beliefs but why is ok for religious people to attack people who aren't followers of religion.
Ahmed, who is married with a nine-month-old daughter
He married a nine month old daughter? why hasn't daily mail reported this disgusting fact typical of all [del]musli[/del] certain people
Brilliant. Way to be a shining beacon of hope for Islam, guy. Idiot. I still don't get religious peoples' hate towards homosexuality. Your holy book says it's a sin and is forbidden? Okay cool, don't have sex with the same gender, then. The qur'an talks about MANY, MANY things that are forbidden yet I don't see anyone giving out pamplets about how other people eat pork or drink alcohol or any of that jazz. Same goes with any other holy book. I'm pretty damn sick of this.
how rude
He married a nine month old daughter? why hasn't daily mail reported this disgusting fact typical of all [del]musli[/del] certain people
I think he's married to an adult wife, and has a nine year old daughter. I was confused, too.
I read what the guy said in the voice of that Waj guy from Four Lions
Yet you have Sharia which many Muslims believe as God's law which in turn is dictated by Scholars. Sharia is founded on the words of God as revealed in the Quran, and traditions gathered from the life of the Prophet Muhammad. Though God likes being a hypocrite.
Sharia law isn't a system of government with any set amount of rules, it's just a system of government from which can be derived and amended different policies; if its considered appropriate to the religion. For example, Jordan and Saudi Arabia both have their laws based on Sharia law, but it's not illegal to be gay nor drink in Jordan. It's all about the approach. The Qur'an in itself only talks about killing in self defense; and a death sentence for a murderer if the victims family requests it. The rest of it are just people adding shit in hopes that 'if we do this and this and this, then we're on the safe side!'
i take offense to your comment, enjoy your jail time heathen
You're not a group of people, are you?
He married a nine month old daughter? why hasn't daily mail reported this disgusting fact typical of all [del]musli[/del] certain people
Not sure if you're sarcastic or not, but if you read that a few times you'd understand that they mean '..who is married and has a nine-month-old daughter'

Even then, God has still gone against his statement with the creation of sharia, why does it exist of God said he didn't want his religion dictating over others? God is a hypocrite.
really i was unaware that freedom of speech only covered anti-government speech i must have missed that clause where it said only anti-government speech was allowed?
The freedom of speech is the freedom to say whatever you want, without causing undue harm upon another individual. Its protection extends to all facts and opinions, not just anti-government speech, and is purely the idea that you can never be punished for speaking your mind by the government. Contrary to popular belief, the bill of rights does not protect you against anyone else. This is why, when you sign a non disclosure agreement and things like that, they are legally valid and another group/individual can pursue you.

My original point still stands - this man thought he was acting within the duties of a muslim and he wasn't.
You're not a group of people, are you?
Oh, so only if it's an arbitrarily designated group of people, then it's illegal?
Shit like this makes makes me embarrssed to have Muslim roots.
Why do people say this? Just because one guy is acting like a moron doesn't mean you have to feel "ashamed" of your roots.

Oh god damn. I'm both gay AND live in Derby where this muppet is.
You're not exactly helping the image of Muslims in America, sir. For every million perfectly ordinary non-'Merricuh destroying Muslims, people are going to focus on someone like this.
You're not exactly helping the image of Muslims in America, sir. For every million perfectly ordinary non-'Merricuh destroying Muslims, people are going to focus on someone like this.
This is in the UK, not America.
I'm not going to debate the validity of the Islamic faith with you. This is the point of holy books and their many conflicting stories.
why would you have to tell the courts anything? this is pretty stupid but i suppose it makes sense considering house music is also banned.
[release] Four other Derby men - Ihjaz Ali, 42, of Fairfax Road, Mehboob Hussain, 45, of Rosehill Street, Umar Javed, 38, of Whittaker Street and his brother Razwan Javed, 28, of Wilfred Street - are also charged with the same offence as Ahmed, of Madeley Street, Derby. All five men deny the charges.[/release]
Grab Mehboob, Hussain.
and no remarks about political correctness either, how expected.
How is causing terror doing a duty for your religion.
Not familiar with islam but christianity is made to scare the shit out of everyone to make them submit. "burn in an eternal hellfire if you dont do what i say"
Most Muslims frown upon the whole "threaten people because they're different" thing.
