its like telling black people they shouldn't make gangster rap music because it hurts the perception of all black people. maybe that is technically true that it hurts the perception but its just victim blaming to tell them to not do it

The dude who started Dwarf Tossing's family is actually really close to mine. His daughter and my sister have been friends for decades. It's a shame he died the way he did. In either case, it was outlawed down here too despite the people that wanted to keep it the most were the dwarfs themselves. They made a damn lot of money from it.

I've seen dwarf tossing in real life. Guess what? I didn't have the compulsion to start mistreating little people. Sure, being vertically challenged and having a genetic disorder isn't much of an ability but doesn't that make it even more paramount to take advantage of it given the disadvantages it also provides? Nobody complains of the pitfalls of being a natural genius and everyone encourages them to use that intelligence, I really don't see how that's any different than this.

Because he his a dwarf, he has to go through certain restrictions that normal people wouldn't have. Doesn't matter if he's a grown up man who can make his own decisions because he's a dwarf lol. Therefore we're going to tell him what he can and can't do.

It does not matter what this group thinks because offence is an individual thing and must be taken by the offended. This is like any other group that decides it knows what is best for all. They fail to realize the we are individuals.
