Reguarding the main topic, that is pretty cool, especially doing it without any permission. I love how they're having fun doing that; It's pleasant to hear about people doing this kind of stuff to play silly pranks and restore masterpieces of art rather than anything actually dangerous for anybody other than them.

Is there a reason they had to be compared to computer hackers? They're benevolent cat burglars and craftsmen doing things that predate computer hacking by literally millennia, how can we be this desperate to tie them into other, unrelated current events with the most uninformed and contrived definition of hacking imaginable?
