Despite how much you love to think it isn't, Feminism is for equality of both genders. The cool thing about about being a feminist is that I can look at a bunch of women choosing not to identify as feminists and say "cool, that's their choice" instead of sprouting the biggest boner of my life because my side just scored a point.

The reason MRAs don't like feminism is because their end goal simply isn't equality. Well, I can't say that since I can't speak to the motivation of every MRA, but the things that MRAs choose to do will never result in equality.

The problem with feminism is that all those radical "feminist activists" make it seem like a complete joke. You can be a feminist without having to tell the entire world that you are one.

I find this sort of thing quite embarrassing, honestly, and am very happy to see this getting dumbs. What people need to realize is that the world does not revolve around them, just because you do not feel oppressed or that you need feminism, does not mean that everyone thinks the same way or is indeed the same position. Also what's even worse is that most of the women seem to be white and almost all of the arguments they've written on paper are often said by misogynists.

Not to say the ideas of feminism support the contrary but some might see the opposite as your side scoring a point. The debate has never been one of fighting either side as a whole but one of discrediting the extremists that discredit the major movements.

Sure people might have slightly lesser views of the movement for a while after a "radical" does something dumb. But the idea is there now, they are aware of the movement. Given time and proper education from mainstream members of the movement, people who had no idea about a movement can become pretty well educated about it. There seems to be a vast misconception of what feminism is and it spreads by the loud minority "educating" people who don't know better. I'd love to say they don't affect normal people but viral campaigns are the easiest way to spread your message to the masses nowadays.

I think that it is somewhat disappointing that you mock them for their non acceptance of feminism. If they do not think they need feminism that is their opinion and thy have a right to have it. Maybe starting an intelligent conversation on the matter would be helpful, but I doubt that mocking them for their spelling and saying they are idiots for not accepting the same ideals as you is helping anything at all
