Call Of Duty MW3 Dev Begs for Help With Low Metacritic User Score

It took people how many years again to realize they're being spoon-fed the same bullshit? I thought the series would end at MW2, apparently not. That was when I was enjoying COD4 too, never saw the use for MW2 aside from trying out the No Russian level
nearly every game that comes out these days gets metacritic bombed anyway
portal 2 did at release

Yet portal 2 wasn't the same spoon fed bs. I can't believe i payed 60 bucks for this shit.
Valve reuses their content. Why no one talks about that? But I'm a Valve fanboy so I don't see anything bad with. v:v:v
I think it's because they're in touch with reality. They know how much their game is worth and charge accordingly.
Some people who're complaining about people constantly rating it down and nuking it with 0's.
I don't believe that trolls are doing it at all, if it was a trolls or 4chan doing it I do believe it would end up "Lol dun't like this gam 2 reptitive", while most reviews are lengthy and telling why they don't like it.

I think most people are angry over the fact that they believed it would be something fresh and new...but its just all the other CoD's slapped together in a shiny new package.

Funny thing about MW3 is i have alot of friends who are massive CoD fanboy's and most of them have actually said they don't like MW3 after playing it, some have even taken it back for a refund and bought BF3.
more than half? what the hell are you on about. the only things that were reused were some of the sounds, animations, weapons, and props. Valve does the same thing and gets away with it.
What else are they going to reuse? Isn't that more than enough. If they can't be bothered to make new sounds, animations, weapons and props I can't be bothered to pay 60$ for their game.
What if Valve worked as Activision?
Portal: Space Cake 12 -60$
"Blue Portal DLC" - 15$
"Orange Portal DLC" - 15$
W, A, S and D button functions are sold separately.
If you didn't play the game, you have no right to form an opinion about how a game plays
I played Modern Warfare 2, so yes, I have already played it
nice to see that the CoD players are finally realizing that they were paying $60 a year for the same repackaged bullshit
You guys are once again being retarded, it is suspiciously low, it is not deserving of such a low score no matter how retarded your opinion on it is. Metacritic user's are just bandwagoning stupids.
This. Even if you don't like CoD, it's not right to support people maliciously bringing its score down.

What else is new?

Actually no mw3 ended up not being a repackaging of mw2 after all.
Weapons with recoil, new unlock system, huge knife nerf, huge shotgun nerf, huge nade nerf, huge perk nerf, new maps, new gamemodes (which is huge for CoD), Elite, new weapons, etc.
I will give you credit though, it's not the jump between MW2 and BO; it's still a lot like mw2. They even used the same animations. But it turned out that mw3 just wasn't a repackaging of mw2 after all. But CoD sequels are suppose to hold the same core gameplay with tweaks across the board, which mw3 succeeded in doing.
This. Even if you don't like CoD, it's not right to support people maliciously bringing its score down.
I think that most of these aren't "malicious," as if you read them most of them actually talk about it being a really expensive mappack, being disappointed, expecting more from the game, etc.
They're merely rating a game that is in their opinion bad and rating it badly
We don't really have much evidence that these are trolls, and the fact that the good/bad ratio is about 3/10 just seems to say that even some people are rating it as good also
Elite
Which is fucking laughable, might I add.
I remember eagerly awaiting MW1. Now that was a quality game! Then I got MW2, hoping for an even better sequel. Campaign-wise, I was disappointed, but the fancy new graphics and awesome slightly more fleshed out Multiplayer made up for that. I got Black Ops for christmas, and boy was I bummed. BO more or less killed off the franchise for me, and Looking at MW3 makes me wonder how on earth people manage to get hyped over something they've already played the shit out of.
MW3's singleplayer is fun, though. The multiplayer's all the same shit but for some reason that's what everyone's hype is about. CoD has always been a strict singleplayer experience for me.

That's weird, because they basically brought everything back that people loved about MW2, in an improved state. As a "fanboy", if you can call it that, this game is exactly what I would love to see in a sequel to MW2..
Yes, the game is a major frag fest, that's the point of the series. It's obviously a good game since so many people play it, I just don't see why you have to prove to everyone that the game sucks.
Ignore the community, and have fun. I have never seen so much ignorance and bandwagoning as when it comes to Call of Duty, let it go..
The ratings of 10 there really annoy me. How can anyone think this game is perfect?
I know people have their own opinions, and i'm fine with that. But they are basically saying nothing could be improved. No game should get that.
Several of the high reviews are saying it's too repetitive, yet they gave it a fairly high score.
MW3 marks the end of the franchise, who agrees? I think the same thing that happened with Guitar Hero will happen with this game

"No game is ever finished." Said a great developer once, and he was right.
Welp, time to rate the 360 version a 1 specifically.

i disagree. with any artistic process you should always know when to stop and take what you've learnt and move on to the next thing
stick around and try to perfect something too much and you'll end up ruining it. over-patching sometimes destroys games. battlefield 2 got a lot of bad press for this back in the day. personally i'd say that tf2 has done the same thing now - i find that game unplayable. it's over-saturated with unnecessary shit that is the result of the developers not knowing when to leave it the fuck alone

Game review scores are a joke. Anything below 8.0 is regarded as crap, while - if you browse IMDB for movies - you'll find barely anything above 8.0 - which is how it's supposed to be like.

and on that day, no blackhawks were used because they suck dick now
They deserve every low rating they get for recycling the same bullshit again and again.

Infitnity Ward has done it again with their most fantastic title to date! Everything from the character interaction to the graphics have been fleshed out making MW3 a beautiful cinematic experience, probably the most realistic and interactive in video game history. I truly feel like I'm in the game with how I can customize my character, from his appearance to his abilities, and being able to respond to situations how I would in real life! It's fantastic, well polished titles such as MW3 that keeps me interested in video games, and it's why Infinity Ward is my favorite developer of all time. Way to go Infinity Ward! I can not wait for CoD:MW4 to be released so I can play the most anticipated MMOFPS of 2013 with all of my friends!
