An honest review is better than a "fuck you".
My review was a honest one.
Old **** and it sells again. wtf why people is buyin this **** only new things are those insane killstreak **** and the story is like some b hollywood movie that just sucks like someone believes that one guy can go and kill 5 million peoples himself. wtf. i never buy cod again.
Yeah.... if this is the type of reviews that'd the users on Metacritic give i wouldn't be worrying too much about the rating.
Bought MW2. It was alright, but it seemed like the series started to go downhill.
Saw Black Ops, thought it looked a little different, decided to purchase it and give the series another chance. It was pretty much the same thing in a different era.
Watched gameplay for MW3. Listened to honest reviews. I can safely say that the series has run itself into the ground and turned into nothing more than a "cool kid" fad. The people seriously talking about how much they love the CoD series and MW3? The douche bags in high school who think they're better than everyone else and blindly follow all the "cool" fads going on at the time.
I'm not going to waste my money even to rent MW3, because in all honestly, it isn't worth it.
Swift Justice
Right before my eyes it jumped from 1.6 to 1.7.
Oh God stop the abuse, rate it 0.

Can you link the place to rate it?
ITT: Cod-hate circle jerk.
WAAAAH I DON'T LIKE THIS GAME IT'S THE WORSE THING EVER.
MW isn't a terrible series, guys. Not great by a long-shot, but you just have your head up your ass if you think it deserves anything less then a 6/10.
[editline]10th November 2011[/editline]
And immediate dumb ratings.
[editline]10th November 2011[/editline]
Ratings like 4 and below are reserved for games that are miserable or unplayable. To say just because they haven't changed anything that they deserve ratings that low is fucking idiotic.
Wow, from the same site about BF3
If there's any fault in the multiplayer, it's that there's no boot camp or tutorial to get you used to how things work. Whether it's learning how to fly a plane, let alone be battle-effective in it, or figuring out that the anti-air rocket launchers won't fire at ground target seconds before you bounce off the hood of an enemy HMMV
anti-air being anti.... air?
SAY IT AINT SO

If CODMW3 was to be judged on a per dollar spent basis, I would award it a 0.5
Congrats CoD devs, I made an account on metacritic because of this and promptly rated MW3 a zero. Begging for positive reviews isn't earning CoD any respect or integrity. If they wanted positive reviews, maybe they should have actually done some work rather than copying and pasting MW2, adding a few new assets, and calling it a day.
Didn't play it (which means I didn't rate it) but the weapons all look like remodels/reskins of previous weapons with the exact same stats, a few extra killstreaks and different maps. I'm not buying it.
Well this is a lesson, Your game is old, and a piece of shit. Please try again.
I love how people don't look at the reviews and assume that they were not legitimate at all.
I love this thread's CoD defense squad's excuse for why this game shouldn't get a low score or why we shouldn't think this game is bad.
Let me tell you kids something. If you think what Activision is doing right now (let me remind you that you are paying $60 for something that could be single player DLC for MW2, weapon and map DLCs for MW2, and a multiplayer game balance patch for MW2) is acceptable, you have not played the original CoD series as first developed by its original developers at Infinity Ward. That game did new things to the "typical war shooter" franchise that kept the war shooter franchise itself fresh, opening up a lot of new potential that today's developers and publishers have still left untapped.
Activision is a publisher that believes that what was good should be repeated instead of doing new things. They hire new developers with this mind set, and their insane earnings influence every other publisher and developer out there in the video game market. They do not expand on their franchises, they simply tack on fancy and exciting vocabulary.
I do not want today's MW gamer drones running how my video game experience will be in the future. Your taste is tactless and utter trash. It is boring and uninspiring. Fuck this game.
PCG gave MW3 a 79.
PCG gave MW3 a 79.
79 is a bit high, in all honesty it feels like another MW2
MW2 was fun imo, but i don't want to spend £45 on a rehash
do people really, honestly, have absolutely nothing better to do?
this is why society sucks. people get more outraged over games than genocides.
Wow the CEO is being completely pathetic by allowing to get himself trolled so easily on his twitter by most likely a bunch of 12 year olds.

He'll practically respond to anyone.

so what's happening is basically a whole group of nerds turn into bullies as an outlet for how they've been bullied in their childhood.
that's nice.
So, this has always bugged me, but why do all the guns in MW look... fat? Like, shorter and wider?

Yes stop the abuse.
By registering new Metacritic accounts to rate it 0.
waiting for him to respond.
Most of the recent COD games all look the same, they just deserve it.
They have more copypasta style than the WWE game series.
What?
this whole thing is pathetic.
The first cod game I got and played was MW2, and it was all new and cool for me.
My friend got me into buying Black Ops and it sort of felt like MW2.
After seeing videos and reviews on MW3 it does look a lot like a MW2 copy/paste.
I might buy it some day, but I'll have to be on a cheap sale (Like that's ever gonna happen :v:)
this whole thing is pathetic.
I like to think of it as people telling the truth about the game.
Ahahaha
Oh my god, this is the most desperately pathetic thing I've ever see come out of a Call of Duty studio
The idea that the developers are literally begging the fanboys to flood the Metacritic with bullshit 10/10 scores (I know he didn't say this but come on, as if he really wants them to "be honest") is so fucking hilarious
I like to think of it as people telling the truth about the game.
there's no truth about the game. it's everyone rubbing their dicks together because they are bored and don't have shit to do except go be a dick head about video games and bully the developer about it.
this is why everyone hates nerds and it's all just playing into the marketing ploy to earn Activision and EA more money.
go fucking ride a bike or find a date or run an online porn site instead of wasting your time arguing about which gray-ish shoot-person game is better than the other gray-ish shoot-person game.
this isn't even a political issue, it literally means absolutely nothing and everyone's just going to do the same shit when the new batch of GAME vs GAME happens.
plus skyrim is coming out today, hello?

Actually he told CoD supporters to be honest and rate on Metacritic. He never said he wanted 10/10s (despite a lot of reviews putting up 0/10) and there wasn't really begging, more like asking for help.
I'm pretty sure other developers have done this in the past, and I actually wonder now what would happen if someone from Bethesda or DICE asked their supporters to do this.
