All things considered they most likely just sent a $68,000 missile to kill this:
Changing size is matter of resizing the parts and computing some extra properties of materials which have to be changed and which can be left. What I suppose also got changed is probably relatively stronger construction to support a heavier payload, possibly pick of different engine units, some additional or left out systems for communication and weapon manipulation... The design still stays the same, is probably done by the same group of people, and is only edited and tuned for different purpose.
ahaha wow this is really dumb. "to make larger aircraft you just make all the parts bigger! :downs:"
I couldn't agree more. America promised to be no more than a "door breaker" to wipe out the most perilous threats to the rebels and clear a path for Britain and France to save the day. They have much more stock in Libya than we do, and there is very little reason for America to spearhead the operation when two other countries are just as capable, and just as willing, to take charge of it instead. As politically rude as it may sound: America needs to tend to its own needs for a couple of decades or so in order to rebuild its ailing economy and to bolster its infrastructure. Lest we address the struggles within our walls, our meddling in the struggles without is at our own peril.
Aren't you a drone pilot?
Aren't you a drone pilot?
he could tell you but but he'd would have to kill you
we seem to have a similar problem in Britain, however. Every time a new prime minister comes into power, their party promises a whole stream of domestic-focused policies and so forth, and then some foreign crisis comes up and we leap on it. Margaret Thatcher with the falklands Tony Blair with Iraq Gordon Brown with Afghanistan David Cameron with Libya Considering we just scrapped a newly built aircraft carrier, are scrapping a lot of our new short takeoff jets in lieu of our old long takeoff tornados and are cutting funding to the army in an effort to save money, launching an offensive on Libya is just sheer madness. We're trying to cut funding to a sector that we're actively ramping up activity in.
To be fair the first one on your list was not a "foreign crisis", it was an invasion of British soil. Everything else is true though to be honest. (Also, I accidentally cut out your reply to my other post but I mean they obviously have more than 2 targets so surely it would be more effective to send a drone that can carry more missiles at a time) [editline]25th April 2011[/editline]
he could tell you but but he'd would have to kill you
(with a drone)
