I want to see some blue aliens getting their asses kicked.
You should try Mass Effect 3.
I really don't get the hype surrounding Avatar. I thought the characters were stupid and unlikable. Pandora wasn't even that good as a setting either, it just felt like it was just screaming "LOOK AT THIS LOOK AT HOW WONDROUS AND OUT OF THIS WORLD IT IS!" throughout the whole film. Plus everyone kept telling me how great the CGI was but when I watched it all I could think the entire time was "wow this looks so cheesy and unrealistic".
The CGI was pretty fucking good. The story was shit, but I really didn't think of the Na'vi as CG characters, more like actors with make-up. [thumb]http://www.avatar.matthewclose.co.uk/Media/avatar_20091202_1791325771.jpg[/thumb]
But revenge is the best reason, I want to see some blue aliens getting their asses kicked.
Yeah, I would rather have Avatar 2: Holocaust of the Cat People Than Avatar 2: Filthy Humans Strike Back
You should try Mass Effect 3.
But those are good blue aliens.

Christ we've come a long way.
If they are as good as the first then by all means go ahead.
You seem to be one of those people who like Avatar. We frown upon your kind around here...
I still find it hard to believe that that everything in that image is computer generated. Christ we've come a long way.
Sometimes, I really love humanity.
I still find it hard to believe that that everything in that image is computer generated. Christ we've come a long way.
No, Weta Workshop just has a really big supercomputer that does it all for them. :v: [editline]8th May 2012[/editline] MAH AUTOMERGE

Seeing the "Making Of" featurettes on The Lord of the Rings and King Kong were phenomenally interesting and really gave me an immense amount of respect for the work that they do.
Milk it real good.

oh boy I can't wait to have more one-dimensional unlikable characters and plots made from slamming two typewriters together in a mid-air collision, truly Cameron will be able to get to the real heart of the issues troubling the world with more smurfy-cats riding space dragons truly a better format for looking deep into the geopolitcal turmoil of the modern world cannot be found
[thumb]http://www.avatar.matthewclose.co.uk/Media/avatar_20091202_1791325771.jpg[/thumb]
2/10 would not connect hair
I hope the next one features the corporation that hired the mercenaries before sending a small detachment of warships to glass Pandora with a series of calculated orbital bombardments, followed by limited deployment of well equipped grounds forces to clean up stragglers. Imagine the visuals Cameron could do for showing an entire continent suddenly disappearing in a wave of fire and atomic death.
There goes another Aliens.
ok no for one the story is pretty much done for except for what happened before the original ridley scott film, which is being covered in prometheus plus possibly a sequel depending on whether or not it does well (it will) for two i really don't want james cameron to come anywhere close to anything i actually like ever again
More mediocre shit with lots of explosions and story ripped off of old movies. YAY!
Am i the only person who really enjoyed avatar
Also relevant:
Except that they did not solve their differences. Perhaps he uses that bounce off another story arc? The story was still weak, but at least it worked and it was awesome to watch. ( Seriously the whole aerial combat? It was awesome. )
Am i the only person who really enjoyed avatar
It was a fun movie, I was just disappointed because I hated the fact that the blue meanies SOMEHOW killed all the humans. If the next movie is anything but the real human military coming in and curbstomping them all for murdering an entire base of people, I will be a bit put off.
there's a difference between "photorealistic" and "realistic". I shouldn't be able to tell when something is CGI and when something isn't, and it was clear as day when the transition from real to CG happened it was just a cartoon on steroids, and the other inconsistencies sent my suspension of disbelief out the window.
Not more of this crap. Graphics were good, story was really lacking and predictable. I want a District 9 sequel damnit.
I want Keloid. see, you can mix fancy effects with an original story
lets watch him change his mind when avatar 2 makes 1/4 of the money that avatar 1 did.
Imagine the visuals Cameron could do for showing an entire continent suddenly disappearing in a wave of fire and atomic death.
Terminator 2 nuke scene with today's technology and on planetary scale. ffffffffuck yes
Didn't he say it was going to be about the underwater region of Pandora? He probably took a lot of inspiration from those Titanic documentaries. I just hope it's not going to be another Phantom Menance.
Fuck Avatar.
Time to watch Plinkett's review of Avatar again.
But Aliens was the only good thing you ever did you dumb bastard
The effects in the movie were insane but, it was a medicore film even still. Great movies, with an Meh plot. People that worship it are stupid.
