Trump-supporter shouldn't even be part of the headline. It should be the harasser's name and leave it at that. But oh wait, then it wouldn't be considered newsworthy would it? hmm "LEVI PULKKINEN, SEATTLEPI.COM STAFF" is just trying to stir the pot if you ask me.
Oh no one of the tens of millions of X supporters done something rude. Better make it national news and make a big deal of literally nothing.
again, its showing how hatecrime/racisism has creeped up in the last 5 years, and has spiked due to trump being near and in power. But no, just shove it off that theres not an issue, just the media and not the actual statistics: https://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/2015-hate-crime-statistics-released http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/14/us/fbi-hate-crime-report-muslims/index.html

The entire reason he's yelling at the staff stems from the fact that he voted for trump lmao. This was literally an attempt to show that they'd be 'discriminated' against by starbucks baristas because they voted for Trump. If a bunch of vegans went to a deli, told the deli workers that they were vegans, asked for cuts of ham, bitched loudly about how long it was taking them to deliver the ham, and then stomped on the ham in front of the deli worker, it'd still be vegans doing it regardless of the fact that people are dicks to retail workers on a daily basis because the entire situation is predicated on their veganism.

I'd say that is worth noting in the story.
This made it to the news?
What is this? Slow news day? It feels like this article was solely created just to create a pointless argument for Sensational Headlines.
The guy kept yelling "I voted for Trump". I'd say that is worth noting in the story.
Yeah worth noting in the story, but as a headline it's only going to stir up more shit and divide people even further. Ever hear of the phrase "you become what you behold"? News stories like these where people are sectioned off into groups that are divided are just going to make the opposing groups even larger and more hostile towards each other. When the story is really just one person causing a stink. basically this
What is this? Slow news day? I highly doubt this was anything more than an intolerant person mad about not getting their coffee on time. Even if he was shouting "I'm being treated badly because I voted for trump", I'm gonna use some common sense and deduce that the exchange escalated to that point.
"Trump supporters in one sentence" Sounds pretty generalizing to me. But fine sure if you say you didnt mean to generalize then I'll give you some slack. We will just agree that you made a pointless petty statement against trump voters instead.
of all the hardcore malicious shit people say to trump voters, the one you attack is the little zinger
Lmao people yell at retail and fastfood workers all the time. It's called "being a petty pathetic loser". Thats what I think of people who causes this type of shit and make busy hardworking people lives harder. Just shut the fuck up and wait for your shitty overpriced coffee. Anybody who has worked retail at busy stores know how it is. Every once in a while some complete douche starts yelling and whining like a 5 year old being denied candy because you forgot to personally wipe their ass. We call these kinds of people, assholes. But this article is pathetic. A TRUMP supporter yells at a BLACK person. God forbids a black person get yelled at like every other employee that deals with dumb angry customers. I think I saw a guy jaywalk yesterday with an trump related shirt on, God stop the presses! Do we really have to focus what every asshat does in this country whenever it turns out they voted trump? If you go to pro trump reddits and /pol/ you see the same petty shit used whenever a clinton supporter does something dumb.
you didn't read the article

It's also talking about their little protest where they demand starbucks workers write "Trump" on their cups.
As someone who has worked in both fast food and retail for the past 8 years, I can confirm that not only does yelling not make us do anything better or faster, many times it will encourage us to just drag our feet even more while giving you hollow apologies. We then laugh at your ignorance once you leave. Management does this too, so don't bother with the "I want to see your manager!" crap either :v:
Don't tell people to "fuck off" or you'll be banned.

Trump supporters in one sentence.
Oh the fucking irony of the situation
Oh the fucking irony of the situation
Care to expand on that? "Trump voters supported bad policy," versus "don't tell people to fuck off." Where's the irony?
Oh the fucking irony of the situation
That isn't irony.
Did you read? It's also talking about their little protest where they demand starbucks workers write "Trump" on their cups.
I read, but that isn't the headline, instead it's this headline that does nothing but spread more hate.
Care to expand on that? "Trump voters supported bad policy," versus "don't tell people to fuck off." Where's the irony?
Obviously you're a social justice warrior for trying to maintain civility in a place that really needs civility. [editline]4[/editline] Like massive strawman, I admit, but I really can't see how that's ironic in any realm of thought. Only other possible thing that's "ironic" is that you're being rude generalizing Trump supporters and then telling people not to be rude.
Okay, if that's what you need to feel satisfied with the course of this conversation. You kind of backed yourself into a corner after making too big a deal out of a relatively benign comment, didn't you? Now you're just throwing punches and hoping something lands so you can walk away feeling like a winner.
Weird how you added in that last paragraph HOURS after I left the thread. Anyways you made a pointless statement implying all trump supporters vote trump because they are too dumb to understand his policies or whatever. I responded with a statement almost exactly like yours with a word or two replaced. If my statement brothered you so much when it is exactly like yours then maybe you should look at your own post and think "shit maybe that was unnecessary and unrelated jab at trump voters that I didnt had to shit up the thread with". Instead of editing your post hours later to add some snarky shit to make as if I was the one being petty. [editline]19th November 2016[/editline]
Care to expand on that? "Trump voters supported bad policy," versus "don't tell people to fuck off." Where's the irony?
Irony is not the right world. That guy is most likely refering to you shitposting.
Care to expand on that? "Trump voters supported bad policy," versus "don't tell people to fuck off." Where's the irony?
The irony is that you're trying to act like a responsible moderator while at the same time being one of the most notorious bullies/shitposters SH has seen. [editline]20th November 2016[/editline] Acting disingenuous also isn't helping the fact.
Weird how you added in that last paragraph HOURS after I left the thread.
In what world is two sentences a paragraph [editline]a[/editline] Teachers first grade and above would rip you apart for saying that [editline]a[/editline] And I mean I don't have any sort of way to know when the post was edited since FP doesn't tell us anymore, but if you were gone for hours how the fuck would you know? He could've added it a single second after you left the thread
Weird how you added in that last paragraph HOURS after I left the thread. Anyways you made a pointless statement implying all trump supporters vote trump because they are too dumb to understand his policies or whatever.
That is not even remotely true. Strawmanning on an impressive scale, Jouska. Choosing to wildly misinterpret my statement doesn't make it true, and it doesn't lend any legitimacy to your argument.
being one of the most notorious bullies/shitposters SH has seen.
Local poster doesn't know what words mean

Doesn't really change anything though. Man briefly expands on post, hold the fucking presses.

[editline]20th November 2016[/editline] Acting disingenuous also isn't helping the fact.
It's funny you're calling out BDA about being a bully. Meanwhile I've seen much, much, MUCH worse posts by various people all over the place and yet you don't say one thing about them.
The irony is that you're trying to act like a responsible moderator while at the same time being one of the most notorious bullies/shitposters SH has seen. [editline]20th November 2016[/editline] Acting disingenuous also isn't helping the fact.
Sorry you feel that way, but I'm not sure I deserve it. I can be a bit caustic at times, I know, but the "most notorious bully and shitposter on Facepunch" seems a bit of a stretch, especially when all I was doing was giving the guy fair warning to reel in his behavior before he got banned for flaming.
It's funny you're calling out BDA about being a bully. Meanwhile I've seen much, much, MUCH worse posts by various people all over the place and yet you don't say one thing about them.
I'm usually fairly vocal about calling people out and I don't have to criticize literally everyone to make a valid point about one poster. The reason why BDA specifically caught my attention is because he's a moderator and fails to follow his own directions, and this is not the first time he's been doing this.

I wasn't saying you had to point out everyone who did that, I was saying that I find it strange you're calling out a moderator when there are much more deserving targets.
What is it with conservatives and protesting starbucks by actively consuming it This is what, the third time this shit has happened now
why don't we focus on Trump instead of his supporters? This hiss shit of going at each other's throats isn't helping and what got us in this situation in the first place. Go after the people in charge. Not the person who under the system's yoke.
If someone did that at my location, I'd just laugh and do it. :unimpressed: I've written weirder names on cups before. Hell, I was told to write "Big Bitch" on a cup before having to tell them that I couldn't do that. Basically, as long as the name you give us isn't obviously offensive, any name is game.
