Can Russia just piss off already?
I'm pretty sure America is apart of a coalition of nations to destroy ISIS. Obama noted that in his speech a few times. I take it Europe and most Middle Eastern nations want ISIS wiped out.
Russia probably prefers ISIS to stay there so they can continue to sell weapons to, likely everyone involved in the conflict.
Iran is at war with Isis...
Iran is helping Assad, what he is saying is that the US going to Syria without permission from Syria would be a provocation to Syria and Iran. It would also be without permission from the UN and would be seen a violation of sovereignty. Russia is buddies with Syria and to a lesser extent Iran. ISIS growing would risk instability in the caucuses and might lead to Chechnya going nuts again, which the Russians probably don't want. I'm honestly surprised Russia hasn't tried to improve relations with the west by helping with ISIS like they did when Bush was in power.
Not really. If going after ISIS were to hurt the U.S. somehow though, absolutely.
If ISIS bombed some fucking place in Russia, even if nobody was hurt, you can bet your ass there would be Spetsnaz on the ground in 48 hours or less. Russia would flip shit and lay the hammer down hard, but they're not going to do that for two reasons: ISIS isn't going to bomb some place in Russia, not when the US government is slowly stroking lube on the warboner while gazing hungrily at ISIS. ISIS is full of those annoying Chechens that the Russian government hates, and they're probably hoping they fucking die in the Iraqi desert. Giving them a cause to come back home would be a terrible idea.

It's inside a lot of Syria, whom has repetitively said no to US intervention.
Choose international law! Our catchphrase: laws exist to be broken.
They want to be the ones who invade Iraq and Syria, just gotta deal with Ukraine first.
That might be somewhat true actually, that's why we should make whatever concessions necessary to appease Putin in Eastern Europe so he can focus his attention on the menace in the South.
as it stands we're not actually doing anything to dismantle assad (for now) besides arming rebels that are part of the guys we're destroying
The Russian's are probably worried that this is some attempt to topple Assad through the back-door.
honestly assad has no credibility anyways and can't get to the UN to bitch about it so theres that, i mean he really can't leave his country without fear of a coup or a rebel assault
Assad has plenty of credibility, his reelection earlier this year was attended by observers from 30 countries, including Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba, Ecuador, India, Iran, Iraq, Nicaragua, Russia, South Africa and Venezuela. They agreed the elections were "free, fair and transparent". When America talks about the "International Community" it usually means just North America and Europe.
