Though I still think death penalty is truly justice for the most inhumane individuals, hell they are probably not even concerned about getting sentenced to death. After all, death is certain, life is not.
I wish someday all people find a common ground on this, some true justice, with death penalty and prison sentences varying from little-to-no time to up to 40 or so years, with or without the possibility of parole.
It all depends on the prisoner himself, some prove themselves to be able to murder, but for aggression or simply for the thrill of killing, it makes all the difference.

Depends on the state. In Texas or Virginia, it would save money over life w/o parole. In California, it would cheaper to give them life.

Yep. My aunt got gang raped like this when she was about that age. She's been depressed, at some points locked up in a mental hospital for being suicidal, eating disorders, et cetera, for the past 40 odd years because of that.
Now, my dad was molested when he was in elementary school by a cousin (I think) of his, he was depressed all of his life and turned to drugs and alcohol, and eventually ended up [b]dying[/b] of a drug overdose.
