This isn't Florida Man, it's his far more competent sidekick: Nine-year-old Boy
It works just fine until some tool tries to claim that you bought it at a souvenir shop. I believe that's what would be more likely in an environment like a bar.
then you use your alligator fighting powers to fuck him right up
How do you end up with "minor bites" after being attacked by an alligator
He's nine, any bite he gets is a minor bite.
I think if it wanted to actually eat him it would have done so despite a puny 9 year old human poking at it.
They do, but the death roll is more common in Crocodiles. Crocodiles are more flexible and fast, while Alligators are pretty big and bulky.
It would also depend how the alligator was positioned when it attacked the kid. The Alligator's body (it's tail specifically) needs to be in a optimal position before it can death roll or else it'll be near impossible.
Well even if it couldn't death roll, it seems like it'd be trying to do something before he could reach down and feel it. I just can't help but feel it wasn't going for the kill.

Given that he received minor injuries (all things considered), the Alligator probably didn't even know what it was latching onto before the kid fought back.
