So much story and fear.
I've seen that before, fucking hilarious. They're just goofing around though, it happens in ArmA2 too;

Medal of Honor was in the WWII industry before Call of Duty,Infinity ward was pushed into the modern era (Though COD4 was amazing) by money... and so past experiences pushes us to believe EA is motivated by money too. I think this game is probly going to be better than MW2 and MoH may take back its throne
[Editline]Edit[/editline]
Looks like BC2 and MW2 had a baby... hope it takes the good parts of both series

Companies wanting to make money?! THIS IS BULSHIT!
Companies wanting to make money?! THIS IS BULSHIT!
Heh, I ment they were milking the series
Wow, that was actually rather underwhelming. I'm not waiting for anything.
looks cool
I feel like the market is getting over saturated with war games.
Oh hey, more politically biased video games.
It'd be nice if they could make the story morally grey, as apposed to having the enemy like some evil numerous omnipotent force.

fixed.
CoD going to fucking ruin Vietnam, goddammit.
Project Reality would fit the bill.
Would be totally bitching if Project Reality wasn't such an unbalanced, stunted, and fruitless game to play. I have to spend 2 days, and roughly 15-20 GB to simply GET the game. I have to spend half an hour joining a server, then I have to lag around ferociously for a good 5 minutes, and then I get killed by random gunfire after a 30 minute jogging simulation. When you have fun in PR, you have a LOT of fun; but you hardly ever have fun in PR. It's like looking for gold nuggets in a 2x2 mile lake bed.
I play a lot of RnL mod now. It's one of the few games that can actually get me worked up during a firefight, makes most other games seem utterly boring in comparison. I would play more red orchestra if the available servers weren't pure shit, but they are what they are.
I just love how they kick the dude out the hole in the wall.

Making good use of the military authenticity advisers.
CoD going to fucking ruin Vietnam, goddammit
Yeah they are. We need more games like 1968 Tunnel Rats.
this is the NEW trailer and it says October 15th

This game looks so good. I can't wait.
heavy emphasis on real-life tactics used by special forces teams
This I really hope will make it into the final product and not end up being "military shooter with gimmicks 75300".
Sure, because every other game with that is incredibly realistic, especially Modern Warfare 2.
Realism in games? Even ARMA 2 wasn't that realistic, it was just silly and awkward to play. Besides, if I wanted realism I'd join the army.
00:23 on, that's where I started to lose hope. I saw them kick down the door and the instant their muzzle cleared the breach they unloaded into the room like 5.56 was going out of style.
Rules of Engagement, I don't care if you were taking RPG fire from the shack, you don't blindly unload into a room. He points the gun to the left and fires without looking. There could have been a child cowering in the corner for all he knew.
Or the point that the body in the office chair is rigged with explosives so he kicks it out the window and jumps to the floor. That's Hollywood stuff. Sure, it happens but it's so rare that it's not an accurately portrait of war.
All I saw was footage of Special Forces and some views from a chopper, it didn't left something to be desired.
No one said it was going to be ultra realistic, and it shouldn't. It's a game. A game. Game.
Yeah, since when did realism even come into the argument anyway?
I don't like BC2 because nothing feels right in it, when I shoot someone in it it just feels like "ok a he just turned into a ragdoll" instead of the "he just died" feeling and I don't get the sharp graphics that I get in CoD.

wow, way to over analyzed a trailer... it's a game not real life.
I like my games to have a moderate amount of realism. I don't care much for Arma, or Flashpoint or whatever, but I quite like Red Orchestra, Call of Duty 2 with realism mods, Raven Shield and America's Army.
I guess I like my first person shootering slowed down a bit. v:smile:v

That was alot better, sort of gives me hope there is more then I'm seeing here.
Realism =/= Dying Quickly, Limited HUD, etc.
Dying Quickly... = A challenge, could be good depending on what you like in a game.
Realism = Real Life/Future Tech

When they claimed to have hired military advisers to insure authenticity.

Ew America's Army.
Love Red Orchestra, can't wait for HoS.

That game must have been satire.
I'd rather have no Vietnam games, than a shitty one that sells millions of copies and gets game of the year even though it's really fucking stupid.
When they claimed to have hired military advisers to insure authenticity.
a lot of developers do this.
When they claimed to have hired military advisers to insure authenticity.
I'm sure it was more of a "hey look at us we have military advisers".
When they claimed to have hired military advisers to insure authenticity.
That could just be in what weapons they have, vehicle specs, equipment and stuff like that rather than how many bullets it takes to die.
Realism in games? Even ARMA 2 wasn't that realistic, it was just silly and awkward to play.
That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. Just as an example, two guys on my steam friends list served in Iraq, and they say it's the most authentic game out. That being said, I don't play it because it's such a huge resource hog, that it's just an utter waste of time to play.
And then they don't use them apparently. Modern Warfare 2 had Military Advisers and they ended up completely screwing up the basic principles of EMP in modern combat and generally, alot of other things, like the Russians using NATO weaponry which are the two that are really obvious and stick out in my mind.
I'm sure it was more of a "hey look at us we have military advisers".
It's basically this, even Halo does it.

How bullets it takes to die? I don't know if you're trying to poke fun at me or you're serious..
Something broke my automerge by the way, I bet it was terrorists.
