EA should buy Homefront, it's perfect for them!
But space marine was amazing, bit short and the elevators were annoying but still a fun amazing game.
I never said otherwise. I agree with you. I was replying to markg06's comment that if Valve bought any of the THQ franchises, they would take forever to do anything with them. I was stating that I rather that be the case than EA buying one and turning it into a cash machine as soon as possible.
EA is sure going to have a field day here, i bet.
I really hope someone will buy the Homeworld franchise and actually make Homeworld 3 as it has been a long time since the last homeworld game.
A poem by AJ: EA, stay the fuck away, you'll lead the franchises astray, there will be hell to pay, and you won't make it another day *snapsnapsnapsnap*
I hope a good company grabs Homefront and makes Homefront 2 the awesome game the first one could've been.
Can we stop posting this video in every thread related to EA? I mean, all you're doing is fishing for ratings, lets stop, thanks.
The masses must be educated. Are you against education?
The masses must be educated. Are you against education?
Everyone's seen that video at least 10 times already.
Saints Row series Darksiders series Company of Heroes series WWE series Homefront series Warhammer 40,000 series Red Faction series Destroy All Humans! series
metro to valve, please. Not activision, not ea, not ubisoft. It deserves a nice home where people cant rip it limb by limp and reanimate it with multiplayer and overpriced shitty DLC ;_;
Either way Metro cant go to valve. It has two 3s in it.
Isn't Metro owned by 4A? THQ has only the right to publish it iirc.
Isn't Metro owned by 4A? THQ has only the right to publish it iirc.
THQ likely owns all of the rights to the game series, including production and distribution.
Yall bitching about EA, but I think Activision is more likely to pick up the lion's share of the IPs. Name any new IP Activision released in the past 5 years: Singularity? The game that Acti did no advertising for and essentially turned Raven Software into a CoD DLC house? Blur? Bizarre Creations got shut down after releasing that. Prototype? Radical Entertainment got shut down too. Right now Activison is essentially Blizzard, Skylanders, CoD, and the odd licensed games. That's a solid portfolio, but it has no room for growth save for Project Titan. Acquiring something like Saints Row fits extremely well with their Demographic. Also, I find it funny that everyone is worried about DLC when THQ had more DLC per game than anyone.
Am I the only one who wants Ubisoft to buy out Metro?
-Rate me dumb for having different "taste"-
Let's hope that EA doesn't get a single IP, and Valve acquires at least one; if Valve got the 40K rights that could potentially be amazing. That being said, it is sad that this is happening to THQ; personally I blame those penny-cunts that ruined the THQ Bundle. Such cunts don't DESERVE to play video games if their unacceptable anti-pittance sabotages the chances of one of the only good-guy publishers out there.
THQ needed to raise something like 50mega. The bundle would have at best allowed them to pay the interest in the best of times. What happened to THQ is that it got hugely burned by a) udraw b) homefront c) armageddon - which wasn't a burn but still a loss I think d) basically all their casual games tanking hard. e) the rest of their games being able to pay for themselves and make some profit but not enough by far to offset losses elsewhere. Essentially what THQ has at this point, are two extremely well known dev teams (volition and relic) which will probably survive after being grabbed up by someone and a number of franchishes - the lion's share of which is made by those two dev teams actually. From the top of my head. Homefront Saints row (volition) Red Faction (volition) Dawn of war (relic) Company of heroes (relic) other various warhammer series (spacemarine, dark million, that spacehulk game, that psp spacemarine game) - (mostly relic) I think they've reaquired homeworld as well - (relic) and I think they hve some wwe game. Darksiders Their casual games section completely and utterly tanked. They've got some other IPs which aren't that well known as well - impossible creatures for instance (again relic) They also have at least 4 very well designed engines in house as well, so that's a big technological asset. Essence Saint's row engine red faction engine the engine used in darksiders and spacemarine
Am I the only one who wants Ubisoft to buy out Metro?
Current Ubisoft or Take-Two would be the best case scenario for Metro - and a wide variety of other titles as well.
Impossible Creatures is a THQ ip.
I wonder who's going to get the Warhammer 40K rights, if anyone?
Games Workshop are going to start making it themselves and make it run on the same business model as their miniatures. Buy the Nob DLC today for $20 and get a second Nob for half off!
Nintendo get de Blob please.
Please please PLEASE take care of the Red Faction series. Guerrilla is one of my all-time favorite games :(
Saints Row series Darksiders series Company of Heroes series WWE series Homefront series Warhammer 40,000 series Red Faction series Destroy All Humans! series
Oh man, Destroy All Humans. I still need to get the first game for the Xbox. Rented it too many times back when Blockbuster existed and GameStop didn't own every game store in the land.
I think EA could do a decent Red Faction game so long as it's open-world like Guerrilla, basically the only thing holding the key aspects of Red Faction from being a brilliant game was the way you were confined to shitty space-corridors the whole time. Obviously it'd be bogged down in awful overpriced DLC and there'd probably be silly and annoying DRM, but I can deal with that if they don't fuck it up (which they probably would).
LOL VALVE BUY THIS VALVE BUY THIS
Would be cool if Valve bought everything
LOL VALVE BUY THIS VALVE BUY THIS
Valve fanboys are really the worst
I'm worried if EA buy them, the games will be ripped out of steam and shoved on origin.
It'd be awful if EA got Company of Heroes. I can imagine them destroying it like they did Command and Conquer.
Imagine f2p CoH, oh wait.
Please, PLEASE let Metro make it out well!
valve should buy everything!!!!! i mean they totally have the workforce for it and their office is not small at all for the amount of titles being requested!
They also have paramount experiences with RTSes, free roam sandbox games and Zeldaesque action adventure RPGs!
