From what I can remember it's called the "Sims 2 New Wave" theme, so it's definitely on purpose.
How well does the game run on ultimate compared to having to install all the expansions separately? Seems like it'd be a little better optimized.

They're still all in separate folders so it's about the same.

Also, what about the original Sims? That one is my childhood and I can't find it on the store.

Origin side of EA is good, scrap the rest of EA, keep only the guys who do Origin things.

This shit won't run. I get to the screen that says "Pets Edition" or whatever, then nothing happens except some really chill music plays while the game freezes up. Anyone know how to fix it?

The first load takes forever when you install a ton of expansions at once, just leave it and do something else.

For me it was like stuck for 10-20 minutes, after that it started to load the game. (it was also stuck on the pets screen)
Just be patient, this game is known for terrible loading times.

When i alt-tab the game takes forever to snap back into gameplay, i get a purple screen with a 'loading' cursor so i actually suggest you get some coffee or something instead of doing something else on your PC

I think it should be fine to switch windows if you launch it in windowed mode, rather than fullscreen.

The sheer amount of mods for this game is ridiculous, really. It definitely helps that all the script and file formats have decompilers.

Basically there is no way to unzombie someone as far as I know, combine this with the weapon mods and you could have a proper zombie survival scenario.
