Then you hate humanity. Someone brought back dark memories for a lot of people, they could have known someone who died in the last bombing, someone just fucking attacked where they live, it'll feel personal to them, they'll be scared. Have a fucking heart, hate them if you want, just know it's wrong at this point in time.
Why the fuck would someone want to attack northern Ireland? Did a sheep shit on their mother's face or something?

There was the UVF and shit as well, bombs were left in catholic fucking schools and shit dude.
Why the fuck would someone want to attack northern Ireland? Did a sheep shit on their mother's face or something?
Are you, what I like to call, a retard?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Troubles :colbert:
What the hell? One would think you guys would have already gotten over that shit.
Are you, what I like to call, a retard?
I think he is, as the french would say Le Retarded. [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline]
What the hell? One would think you guys would have already gotten over that shit.
...you fucking moron.
there is no point to this, there is no gain to this, there is no merrit to this. yet the IRA continue to target civillians and officers. what the fuck are these people trying to gain, theres nothing to gain from this, nothing this shit is pointless, the only reason they do this is because some assholes don't want to give up on trying to get back a country that was claimed all the way back in the 1600's as a way to extend political relations between Britain and Ireland, and stop further attacks from the fucking Spanish yet some pricks, want back a country that was getting along fine with the world around them. this whole separation between Catholics and protestants in this country is bullshit it only CAUSES problems like this, and thats why the troubles started in the first place. religious differences
What the hell? One would think you guys would have already gotten over that shit.
Yeah, people can just get over the deaths of 3500 deaths in a conflict which 'ended' just over 10 years ago. There's more than one IRA. 2. It wasn't the IRA, no one knows who did it yet.
What the hell? One would think you guys would have already gotten over that shit.
Just stop.
Actually I want to go into this in further detail.
there is no point to this, there is no gain to this, there is no merrit to this. yet the IRA continue to target civillians and officers.
No one has claimed resonsibility for the attack, it's impossible to know who did it so blaming the IRA is fucking pointless.
what the fuck are these people trying to gain, theres nothing to gain from this, nothing
They're trying to gain freedom for the North from the UK, whether it's actually freedom or not depends on what side of the conflict you're on.
this shit is pointless, the only reason they do this is because some assholes don't want to give up on trying to get back a country that was claimed all the way back in the 1600's as a way to extend political relations between Britain and Ireland, and stop further attacks from the fucking Spanish
Yes, the English claimed Ireland in the 1600s, maybe the Irish didn't like being killed and driven off their land. Maybe the fact that there was constant rebellion since then (1641, 1798, 1800, 1803, 1848, 1867 and 1916) until the Irish War of Independence shows that people didn't much like British rule.
yet some pricks, want back a country that was getting along fine with the world around them. this whole separation between Catholics and protestants in this country is bullshit it only CAUSES problems like this, and thats why the troubles started in the first place. religious differences
Getting along fine? Like passing the Special Powers Act which let the Northern government intern people without trial? The seperation between Catholics and Protestants started when the English invaded and said "If you're not a Protestant you can fuck off", it should also be noted that the Irish are only Catholic because of the English.
Odd, I was watching a history on the IRA earlier on the history channel. IRA are just a bunch of drunks who collaborated with Nazis. [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] I presume its someone from one of the IRA's anyway.
This reminds of some old hag who called onto the radio (The Nolan show I think). She said that she supported what the IRA were doing, and said that she would sacrifice her entire family to see Ireland united. It was both hilarious and horrifying.
People like that make me fucking rage. It's not like unifying an island will change anything.
Even if it did, violence isn't the way to do it.
Londonderry by the way.
Don't you mean Derry? :smug:
Sweet! Free bacon! :D Pre-cooked too. (User was banned for this post ("Shitpost" - Starpluck))
Don't you mean Derry? :smug:
Derry~Londonderry Yes, Derry is actually a pretty peaceful place, despite the random violence, it's still rare. Most people in the housing areas say hi to you on the street, even in the towns if you've seen them before. My brother moved to Belfast, he says people just push right past you there, you have to watch out for your self and I've been down there a few times even at 10pm at night there's lots of people walking about, easy to get lost. I've been attacked my self by a group of people for just walking through a 'Protestant' street and for not telling them what school I went to, chased out. It's sad, really. I was born Catholic even though I consider my self agnostic and not really religious at all, wasn't my choice to be born into religion, I wouldn't want that for my child, I want it to be his/her choice.
Jesus. The first Omagh car bombing was bad enough.
Bomb in Ireland. Instant "IRA!11 :aaa:" :colbert:
IRA are so kewl, UDF are badass, violence and ~thug life~. Man i am so sick of the shit going on up north from both sides. They're not even fighting for anything anymore they're just criminals now.

The fact that Gerry Adams condemned this attack makes me sick. The hatred in Northern Ireland is actually quite depressing. The "London" of "Londonderry" is crossed out on virtually every road sign all over the country. There are "peace" walls dividing the two communities in Belfast such as this one: . A new bridge that is being opened over the Foyle river in Derry/Londonderry is called "The Peace Bridge", which is so ironic that it is sad. At least things seem to be getting better, despite some tragic incidents like this one in Omagh.
IRA RIRA I can't believe it's not IRA
Forgot the CIRA.
There is a symbolic walk being organised in his memory on the 9th of April, First Minister is attending his funeral. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=205167042840714 I think the page was called walk against wankers at the start! Good to see the community come together, shows progress from the past.
i can understand why someone would want a united ireland but surely a few car bombs here and there won't bring it
the ira used to fight for freedom but now they're just blowing shit up for shits and giggles
No group has came forward yet and claiming it was the IRA is very vague, just "dissident republicans" are getting blamed. So many different republican groups its hard to know which one it was. The old IRA formed in 1919 or so had some split into the Provisional IRA in 1969, which then spit into a group calling themselves the RealIRA. The RIRA claimed responsibility for the Omagh bomb in 1998 and the killing of two British Soldiers in 2009. I studied the Home Rule crisis and beginning of the IRA in History A Level and it still confuses the hell out of me.
