The Island wasn't Spanish, they had a claim on it because of the pope giving them the western half of the world. Doesn't mean shit though.
They owned a colony that the French sold them too.
The only reason they keep doing this is just to divert the attention of the population away from the government, since everyone is mad at them for being corrupt as hell.
If there's any Argentinian Facepunchers in this thread it would be interesting to hear your opinion.
The first thing you learn in history class is how evil the British empire is for stealing the Falklands. That about sums it up.
Let's nuke them.
Out if curiosity, what's the second thing you learn in history class?
That glorious Argentina must take back the islands and then they detail a battle plan, duh. [editline]4th January 2013[/editline] You get extra credit if you figure out a way to maximize British casualties
Yep. Most people forget/don't realise that there were lots of casualties and the Argentinians were really bunkered in and prepared for us when we got there. The only reason they lost is because of their troops. They weren't used to the harsh climate and once they began to run out of supplies that's when they began surrendering if I recall correctly. Occupying troops were actually begging islanders for food. They had better equipment than us but many were fresh recruits.
I think you're forgetting the small fact that 99% of the troops didn't actually had any military training whatsoever and were actually 16 yo kids taken from their homes.
Kill all the islanders would be one. They're british.
No, they're argies, they're just in denial.
