If we go to war with Korea the US is definitely reinstating the draft. I do not want to get drafted. I don't think I'm physically able to be drafted, I've had an open surgical wound off and on for several years now but if they're desperate enough I'm sure they'd ignore that. The moment the government reaches this line, they've gone too far seriously. I don't think it'll be called though, think about all the training they have to do with all the new tech. we have, plus how to combat, etc. It'd take too long of a time, plus the uniforms, foods, etc. Shit would hit the fan fast.

Unless we decide to just provide support to South Korea, which is unlikely because SK would get demolished within several months, North Korea's army is too large for the forces we have available right now. The fact that we've only sent over one carrier with other minor support to SK means the US probably isn't expecting a major war to erupt which is good. Still regardless of whether the draft would get reinstated NK going to war would suck.

There will NEVER be another draft - our military at it's current stage and South Korea's combined is more than enough to take on the North Koreans. Not to mention the effort it'd take to get a bunch of unwilling soldiers in the field would not be worth it, and draftees would have a serious effect on the morale of units and how they perform in the field.
