at least they don't have to do anything since they already have a wolf model made [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] LEFT MOUSE
why not a shibe skin so instead of attacking people it just stares at me ironically so that i question why i paid sixty bucks for another one of these shitty games
They should do like they did in Halo 3; Have easter eggs (like skulls) that unlock the skins for free.
4 fucking dollars for a skin?
[t]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_C61UwEgS26A/TNvbAtF3LEI/AAAAAAAAADs/IEPxvdI9sss/s1600/Mann%2BCo%2BStore.jpg[/t] Huehuehue. Where there's a cosmetic, there's a sucker who will buy it. :v:
Granted, that is pretty awesome
No...
does it make them less OP
Cmon', there were some funny moments, like:
[t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/488876173312706228/D2347FFCCDC2245D3E6EA8C37447B517EF4F163C/[/t]
Seeing as Treyarch had a bacon skin for guns in BO2 I wouldn't put it past IW to try to kick it up a notch and add a doge skin for the guard dog since it's the Hot New Meme
I can already hear the ads coming. "do want, so cheap, such awesomeness, amaze, only 10 dollar." :suicide:
So why isn't anyone ripping on games like league of legends, who sell skins for 5-20 dollars? I know call of duty as a game itself is lacking but I feel like this is being criticized just because it is call of duty, not the actual principle itself.

Where there's a cosmetic, there's a sucker who will buy it. :v:
As much as I hate TF2 and as stupid as prices like that are, you can get those cosmetic items through normal play and trade-playing. The preorder bonuses are STUPID too but thats a different story.
Stop comparing tf2 to these dlc, most of the items are obtainable by trading or dropping.
word, items that are sold in valve games are also traded and have fluctuating values you can take advantage of plus, this is a skin that is BARELY seen. $4 so that when you get to 6 kills, if you've chosen to use the attack dog, it'll show up as a wolf. a weapon skin is out all the time, a hat is always equipped, you don't have to capture three points before you can wear your special hat
Because people are biased when it comes to Call of Duty :v:
No, stop it. Call of Duty is a $60 game that is selling something as stupid as a skin from a model that already exists (no actual extra work involved) for $4. League of Legends is free-to-play and requires continuous flow of money to maintain servers. TF2 is also free-to-play, but the items that you pay money for (minus items like keys, etc) can all be obtained through random drops, crafting, or trading. There's no excuse for microtransactions in $60 AAA titles. Unfortunately it will probably become the norm in a few short years because people will buy anything.
No, stop it. Call of Duty is a $60 game that is selling something as stupid as a skin from a model that already exists (no actual extra work involved) for $4.
It's a damn skin, it doesn't impact gameplay, it's for people stupid as shit who cares about skins. This isn't a map pack or a weapon we're talking abot, this isn't content. You don't have to buy it and atleast it isn't as bad as fucking 15 bucks map DLC. They can put whatever price on it as long as it doesn't change the game.
4 bucks for that? Seriously? Nobody's even gonna notice the difference, except the fucking idiot who actually buys the skin. Not in the ADHD clusterfuck that is CoD multiplayer.

Next DLC: Improved Shark AI! This is ridiculous.
Augmented dog!
Dogmented.
I wish all game engines were as versatile as source. The never ending stream of community content would be awesome.
ok look at tf2 or dota there are 'skins' (cosmetic items) that cost way more than 4$. Some sets in dota cost like $15 Sure it's a dumb DLC, but saying they are the only ones to do it is wrong. As long as its purely cosmetic $4 is a very reasonable price...compared to other games with cosmetic dlc or items.
The thing is in TF2 and DOTA2 ypu can get almost all the cosmetics for free simply by playing the game, the store is just there if you are too impatient for a random drop of a specific hat/cosmetic/skin. Granted they did some "exclusive promos" but they learned from their mistake and introduced the original rarity thing-a-mabob. The point is you can't sell a skin as "Dlc" and at such a stupid price (I can get two-three full cosmetic sets in littlebigplanet with 4$). Used to be that the worst DLC of all time was Oblivion's horse armour, but even that had a purpose and was cheap. [editline]11th December 2013[/editline]
I wish all game engines were as versatile as source. The never ending stream of community content would be awesome.
Most companies can make their engines as versatile, they just don't. It gives the players reason to buy the same game every couple of years just for "new content"
