Republic Commando can just be broken down to Rainbow Six with a Star Wars skin and its one of the best in the series

I think either way can have its merits. A game with shitty/no story can still be enjoyable because its fun to play, and a game with lackluster mechanics can still be enjoyable if it has an enthralling story that draws you in and makes you want to know what happens next.

I think there's a certain point where video games start to become something like audio books that you can't listen to while doing something else which would defeat the entire purpose of an audio book.

Why is it all the movies always focus on characters that we have seen before. Although I like Boba Fett, I would rather see a character I have not seen before.

Actually looking into it now the older novels all have different backstories. The one I thought they all stuck to was him being a Journeyman Protector who was framed for some shit and had to change his identity after murdering the dude responsible. The official explanation to this is they're all rumours he spread himself to throw people off, which is actually pretty cool now that I think about it.
I just hate the clone shit is all.

I personally didn't like it when it turns out the storm troopers are just clones. That was fucking gay. I liked it more with the feeling that every one of those poor shooting fucks was a person with a family, just trying to survive and pay the bills by serving the empire.

I never thought that a lot of the storm troopers are leftover clones. Maybe there'd be some here and there, but most of them are just ordinary people. I'm not a huge lore junkie for Star Wars though, so I may be wrong.

Boba Fett wasn't a character seen very much in the movies and his story was absent. He was a cool character but we knew little of him (from the movies)

The majority are normal people. Kamino ended up getting screwed over and the clones age far quicker than normal.

According to Star Wars: Battlefront II, much of the stormtrooper force are clones, but from a variety of 'templates' with a bunch of actual volunteers.
It's too bad he'll have his helmet off for most of the movie because we gotta have actor face screen time.

Not a big fan of Boba Fett (he looks cool and served a neat part in the films, but the expanded universe made him such a god damn mary sue)

Not necessarily. No full-face shots worked fine for Dredd, but like Dredd there will probably be some sidekick character to fulfill the emotion quota.
Star Wars has already been ruined and making a movie about a cool character that the prequels and the Expanded Universe turned into a Mary Sue won't change anything IMO
