in this movie bobba fett will become a jedi and defeat STARKILLER 2, the jedi/sith hybrid who knows all of the force powers.
Nonono. Boba Fett IS Starkiller! [editline]5th January 2014[/editline]
What if there's an alternate universe somewhere where the prequels are great and the originals are shit?
Well if the Originals were shit in that universe they probably would not have made the prequels. More likely there is a universe where the Prequels were just as good as the OT.
Actually, according to EU Han spent time as a pilot in the Empire before abandoning it for a life of pirating with Chewbacca.
I'm talking about the time before he hooked up with the Empire. From memory. Street urchin > part of thief|pirate|racer|conmen crew > ran off to be a freighter pilot for slavers using pretty much psychic drugging > imperial pilot > saved Chewbecca and tried to find employment with Jabba on Nar Shadaa > Had many adventures, also snagged rich former slave girl who was a blood thirsty rebel who fucked him over which led to his dislike of the alliance more or less
I'll be disappointed if I start seeing a lot of blood in Star Wars.

I am aware of this scene. Thus why I said "a lot of" blood.
You know, I heard somewhere that George Lucas liked the idea of Fett escaping the Sarlacc and planned on having a scene in the re-releases of ROTJ where you see him escape, but changed his mind at the end.
If it's a stand alone movie, I really hope they don't actually label it "Episode VII". Leave numbered episodes to the Skywalker saga.
This is a separate movie from Episode VII. What was not clear about that. Standalone. As in not a part of the Star Wars movie storyline. Come on people read the source.
This is a separate movie from Episode VII. What was not clear about that. Standalone. As in not a part of the Star Wars movie storyline. Come on people read the source.
The poster I replied to called it Ep VII so I assumed that this was Ep VII. My mistake.
Actually, according to EU Han spent time as a pilot in the Empire before abandoning it for a life of pirating with Chewbacca.
He was raised on a pirate ship, escaped, joined the Imperial Academy, became a pilot, and had to bail when he saved Chewbacca from an Imperial labour camp. So you're both right.
I don't hate Boba Fett, I think he's cool. But I hate how they made him like the edgy "fuck you I don't use the force i'm just fucking super badass with guns and shit lol" 14 year old bait character. I wouldn't mind a boba fett movie, I just hope there isn't any retarded fucking fan-service in the new star wars movie where they somehow get boba fett to comeback like they did for the prequels.
After Dredd, fuck no.
Dredd was a great adaptation.
The only requirement I have of this movie is that it is post-Return of the Jedi so it's absolutely true that he survived the pit.
What's up with Traviss' books? I read the Republic Commando line and they just seemed uninspired and not starwars at all, but it seems people really hate them?
Its Star Wars' Band of Brothers. Drama about [sp]a clone instructor being too attached to his trainees, adopting them, and doing whatever it takes to find solution to reverse accelerated ageing. Its also a story about a clone who is in relationship with a Jedi, and has a son with her. The son became some sort of Deus Ex Machina in Legacy era, appearing to fix up Boba Fett's clone problem and helps training the main protagonist to defeat the BBEG. The son is a Mandalorian capable of utilizing lightsaber like a Jedi Knight. Heck he even can use the Force.[/sp] Spoiler tags just in case. Personally I don't hate Traviss' RC books. I wanted more Republic Commando after the game but LucasArts are being retarded about it, so the best I could get at the time were the books.
Need to post this also.
Only now I notice how stupid this fight is. Kenobi gets hit by a rocket and immediately afterwards by ship lasers and he doesn't have a scratch. What?
It's definitely gotta be Temuera. IMO his face and voice have become so iconic with the series it'd be stupid not to. Also that fucking accent is like ear porn to me.
Maybe not. There is still the person who played him as a kid, and continued voice acting Boba during the Clone Wars show. I'd imagine they might want to stick with him, but who knows? I'd love to see Urban do it, but with him being busy with Almost Human, he might not be able to commit.
Wookieepedia is utterly ridiculous. Because of the way canon works they try to fit EVERYTHING into the timeline, even stuff that outright contradicts each other.
I think I preferred EU Grievous then Movie-Clone Wars CGI Grievous;
Only now I notice how stupid this fight is. Kenobi gets hit by a rocket and immediately afterwards by ship lasers and he doesn't have a scratch. What?
The scene is also twice as slow and the CGI twice as bad as I remembered.
If anyone watched the Clone Wars series, you'll see it may be pretty cool if they keep a similar progression for his character. Though, in the series, he was kind of a neutral character, and not evil. They may go for "misunderstood good". He's also kind of arrogant. John Williams is more than 80 years old.. do you guys think he'll be composing for all of these movies? I will legitimately cry when he dies.
What's up with Traviss' books? I read the Republic Commando line and they just seemed uninspired and not starwars at all, but it seems people really hate them?
She gave mando's a human face. Many people hate that.

I always saw him as a Chaotic Good type of dude.
I`d go see it like. I hope he`s portrayed as a true Bounty Hunter + not some hero...
character development is essential. Anti-hero is the term to use in this case.
I always saw him as a Chaotic Good type of dude.
I see him as true neutral. He only serves one thing - the pay. There are no other allegiances, good or bad.
He technically wasn't evil in the movies either, just working for the pay that just happened to be paid by the bad guys.
this quote from Force Unleashed sums it up p well Boba: It's about repeat business, and your Alliance most likely won't exist long enough to pay my first fee. Juno Eclipse: You're overconfident, like the Emperor. Boba: I have reason to be. His credit's good.
Wait, that title? Is some guy called Boba fucking some guy called Fett in this film? I thought Star Wars was a kids film.
