I implore that you read the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting's big ass article which goes into detail with the molestation accusation and other crimes he committed along with other general insanity.
Holy shit, just read the KCIR's article about Johnson. I felt bad for the guy before, but I can safely say now that nothing of worth to humanity was lost. Good riddance. The man's entire career has been a web of deceit and hypocrisy that makes even Moore look like a saint. Hard to believe he was actually elected.
And if anyone here is offended by my saying it's good the guy's gone, take a few to read the article in the post above mine yourself, and find out the truth about him.
In my view, not every life is sacred. If one spends most of their life lying, cheating and stealing, their suicide when their crimes start to catch up to them isn't a thing to be mourned.
Hey man, nice shot.
Didn’t Germany just elect a bunch of racists to their government?
Depends on what you mean by government. They're not in the governing coalition, but the far-right Alternative for Deutschland party did have their best personal showing ever in the parliamentary elections earlier this year.
Japan is highly xenophobic and the age of consent is fucking 13.
age of consent in japan is a very tricky subject considering essentially all prefectures have adopted higher ages of consent independently of the central government, as well as additional laws practically making the 13 year age of consent moot. saying "japan's age of consent is 13" is only technically true, but in practice it is between 16 and 18 depending where you are, what your age is, and what your gender is. if you want to be sure to avoid any legal troubles anywhere in japan, your best bet is for both you and your partner to be 20 or older. in some places, relationships between people under 18 can be considered illegal, depending on the gender and ages of the people involved. i'd say in many ways japan is actually far more conservative when it comes to age of consent than many places in, say, europe, or even the united states. at the least it is far more convoluted, with your gender potentially figuring into your punishment, each gender essentially having their own rules.

decent explanation on it
Kind of surreal how his personality, views, conduct and looks mirror Trump's, all the way down to being just borderline literate.
